That Eze didn't want to come I am comfortable with, as in it would only habe been as a last resort.

Don’t really care about Palace in this tbh but I can see why you would. Palace relegated doesn’t do anything to woolwich and Eze. And somewhere in all this, levy, Lange and Vinai need to realize how incompetent they have been
I don't know if Savinho is really worth that value, if it's tough to negotiate we should go for another target.
I don’t think these are necessarily conflicting narratives. Levy’s tendency to negotiate everything and haggle allowed himself to get tricked because he allowed Palace to delay and delay.
It also now seems clear that the player himself was waiting for Woolwich to come in, and he was definitely in on it. Now, we could’ve overcome this by just going in with a real bid much earlier in the window, which is on Levy, but Palace, Eze, and Base also simultaneously mugged him off.
The reaction will be weak and disappointing. Sorry to say but it will be and Levy won’t be reflecting on it. He never has.

He will be a miss but 3 months is back around Christmas.
We have players we are told who will only be out for 2 orc3 weeks who aren't bsck on the pitch for longer.
Unfortunately they still have Merino, who looks more competent (at present,l than Gyokores, and Jesus will return as well at some point.
There will be another injury though. His body seems broken and he’s just packed on more muscle which will make the load on his legs even bigger.
