Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I’m going to say this now and some will think I’m paranoid but this was orchestrated between Eze, his agent and the scum. Parish probably got a few extra million from them for stringing us along, maybe he was just holding out for better money for his club….

but I’m not buying this story that Havertz was the reason. They probably get a back up CF on loan as well.

Romano can fuck off as well. I’ve blocked that cunty little account on socials, same with Ornstein. Those two bullshitters have mugged this fan base off for clicks and engagement this summer. Time for them to go in the bin.

I don’t think Woolwich are necessarily in on it, it would be pretty stupid of them to use us to push their price up for Parish.

I think this is on Levy for dicking around - and don’t misunderstand me, he’s not the only chairman who dicks around (Woolwich could have had Eze months ago but we’re hoping nobody else would pay what Parish wants). And it’s well played Parish - he rarely ever buckles when selling, we’ve seen it with Guehi and Newcastle/Liverpool, and Eze with us/Arse.

I think whatever deal we struck, Arse would have matched and got him, because that’s where he wanted to go, Parish is just doing the best for Palace, I doubt he gives a fuck where he goes.

The failure is not just not getting the deal done, but the time Levy takes to fail. If he’d hit what Parish accepted two weeks ago we’d either have the player or know two weeks ago that we haven’t.

Same with MGW, Levy tried to be cute. Again, most chairman would/do. But the recurring story is, failure by Levy to get his job done.

Levy’s dealings and strategy in the transfer market have been failing for years now. Time to step away or try a different approach.

How's that coping when I literally said it probably won't happen?

Paz could very well be a much better first for number 10 than Eze was, and Savinho is infinitely a better fit for us wide left.

Eze is a very good player, but a passing number 10 was always a better fit than a ball carrier. Don't get me wrong though, Eze yes we needed, especially how fucking weak we are in attack.
Yup & Paz is fooking class a pure playmaker with panache, not a pussy either holds his own too.

eze is a good player for sure, but is overhyped into this almost world class bracket, which he is not

Merse reckons the Scum will win the PL with Eze!

Well that's good, he's never been right about anything

They've still got Arteta working against them. Although Eze is a good player I'm curious to see how he's used. I'm guessing LW but then he'd like to cut inside just like all their LBs (Skelly, Calafiori and Zinchenko). Interesting to see how they'll provide width on the left. Heard a rumour they were considering Saka on the left but I'll have to see that first

Very good post. Nice read. Agree pretty much entirely.

That’s not true.

It’s Levy’s fault. He took too long and if the Havertz injury hadn’t happened I don’t think they would have come back in for him. I don’t think it was planned by the Goons et al.
Its your opinion no different than what JDefoe JDefoe posted.

Very few people really know exactly what went down.

They mugged us off completely.

Everyone involved: Palace, Woolwich, Eze himself, even Levy’s favourites CAA Base.

Can you imagine getting played by your best friends at the agency? They led him on knowing they were going to stab him in the back in the end. The entire thing was a charade and Levy was too fucking stupid to see through it. An absolute catastrophe and total embarrassment.
Sums up everyone's opinion of Levy , they all despise him

The price they paid is suspiciously high and higher than any of the figures reported to us.

Also, the nature of that club needed a political win. It’s just who they are. They knew after our EL win and Partey, the political currency they always like to have was definitely fading. They needed something like this to assert their position over us in the order of things and it really wouldn’t surprise me if they paid more for it.

He is a cunt but thats poor form

I don’t think these are necessarily conflicting narratives. Levy’s tendency to negotiate everything and haggle allowed himself to get tricked because he allowed Palace to delay and delay.

It also now seems clear that the player himself was waiting for Woolwich to come in, and he was definitely in on it. Now, we could’ve overcome this by just going in with a real bid much earlier in the window, which is on Levy, but Palace, Eze, and Base also simultaneously mugged him off.
He was resigned to scum potentially not coming in and was "excited" to be joining spurs as an alternative and would have come.

That article by *whatever his name is* is attempting to dramatically frame this all for a juicier story.

The simple truth lies within it tho.

Paz is built for the PL and Romero would love having him around.

We could easily get Romero in his ear during a WC year. Come and play with your NT captain and make your case to make the WC squad.
