Never thought for a second we'd get eze.…….must have been only one everybody thought we were!
I was weary all along. Was only confident after POK comment but that only lasted an hour and I knew something was up again then after no HWG. So there was only an hour period in the last month where I actually believed it would happen. Hence why I'm far more calm than most the last 24 hours. Unfortunately I saw it coming

If all our current players stay healthy all year we can finish 6th (lol)

I think you are being generous but we will get players in, so maybe that is realistic.

I expect concrete news by close of play tomorrow.

Levy ,for all his hard and coldish exterior will be reeling somewhat. He will want to make a point is my reading of matters.

I dont think we get anywhere near 6th t the present time.
Clearly ahead of us - LIV, ARS, MC, CHE
Ahead of us - Villa, Newcastle
Probably ahead of us - Forest
At our level - United, Brighton, Bournemouth, Palace (if they don't lose too much), Fulham - We are probably ahead of 3 of these teams but I wouldn't be surprised to see one of them exceed expectations this year.

Could see 8th or a touch higher if Newcastle or Forest fall off.

Maybe Frank is an amazing manager and we somehow scrape 6th but I have not seen these players prove they can beat the teams that are ahead of us.

It sound as if the attempts to make a deal on our part were genuine- just exceedingly unimpressive.
I don't buy it tbh.

Rivaldo's letter was the first smoke and mirrors ENIC psyop.

Levy and ENIC have turned Spurs into a selling club and are now in the process of killing our reputation in terms of signing any players.

Even B and C listers like Forest and Palace are out of our range under these cunts.

Relegated players and other cheap options.

Ii think United are at least on a level with us. Not Europeam games a d that crowd behind them, and 3 new attackers.

Forest no, so neutral..

Newcastle is a weird one. I like Howe but he had a real challenge and bizarrely none of Villa's players are being touted for moves, which seems strange as not in the CL and not able to really strengthen. They are an.unljoen quantity for me.

I'd be surprised if Forest finish ahead of us again. European football will seriously effect them and I think they got alot of luck last year.

I'd be surprised if we finish ahead of united though. They've better players and no Europe.

We prob finish 7th or 8th

My issue with the Eze deal isn’t that Eze is the be all, Maddison is a better creator than him for a start it’s more I don’t trust the club to move on and hit the next target properly. If we end up with Savinho and Paz, missing out on Eze means nothing but I don’t trust us to do that. I expect us to end up at best with Savinho and maybe a Dibling for the 10 or worse two Dibling youth signings.
For me Maddison has been a flop, so if you think EZE is worse then it’s a lucky escape and we’ve made Woolwich pay over the odds.

Madison is nowhere near the level of Eze NOWHERE NEAR. Maybe we're giving him a pass because he's injured but Madison's last season at Leicester was a shocking display of half heartedness it's why I'll always have a soft spot of Richarlison because when Everton were almost certain to get relegated he put that club on his back and carried it to safety while Madison was the exact opposite.

This is nonsense.

EPL: 30apps / 10g / 9asst

Previous season 12g/8asst

'Reeking of desperation?' - who could Spurs turn to next?

No one seems to be picking up that Levy appointed Vinai Venkatesham ( Mr Arse Anal ) and yet despite this, it’s Arse Anal who now make the entire Tottenham board look like a fucking circus. 🎪. That smells bad !

Yeh there is no comparison in raw ability terms, Maddison kills him.

Eze however is much more mobile and more importantly always available. Maddison is the better footballer, Eze is the more useful player.

Not exactly....

24/25 - 36 days
23/24 - 82 days
21/22 - No injury data; but only made 13 epl apps (602 mins)
20/21 - 169 days

Eberechi Eze - Injury history

Note: for a club that plays twice a week that equates to twice as many games missed.
