Watching us play the 4-3-3, instead of going and getting our 4th or 5th choice #10, all of which are big gambles, what about going and getting Angelo Stiller from Stuttgart? He’s one of the best passers of the ball in Europe.

A midfield 3 of Palhinha as the nasty cunt breaking up attacks, Sarr as the legs, and Stiller dictating play and playing the balls in behind for Kudus, Savinho and Johnson to run onto would have an amazing balance, and would allow us to dominate the middle of the park against most teams in the league.

Tell you what if we had an owner that cared about the football and spent a couple hundred million before the end of the window...who knows what we could do this season to be honest.
 
We need to sign players.

The team is good now but if we're serious about being competitive on all fronts as Levy has said then we need signings.

A creative player is still needed. And a winger to ease the burden on Kudus.

Defence picks itself.

Long season ahead and we have little depth, but none of today’s eleven deserves to sit out the next match.

And no, I’m not Daniel Levy. Just asking a question, that I probably know the answer to anyway. It’ll be Johnson. As long as his goals are replaced, I’m on board.

It's not even about the "competing on all fronts" cliche......... We lack depth in key areas....... That'll leave us seriously exposed once the cups kick in.

Unfortunately as Soon as the league cup and CL starts the squad will be stretched badly and injuries will occur and form will massively drop due to fatigue.

Will levy do anything before September 1st?

Best if Frank send a team of kids for that first league cup game

No one is "dropped" different horses for courses, and rotation between midweek CL and weekend league
 
You could tell Johnson was pretty poor apart from the goal. He can be upgraded. And definitely need an attacking midfielder. And probably another who can cover multiple attacking positions.
