Not wanting to “that guy”, but who are we dropping for a new signing?

Midfield three were superb. Front three create or score.

Defence picks itself.

Long season ahead and we have little depth, but none of today’s eleven deserves to sit out the next match.

And no, I’m not Daniel Levy. Just asking a question, that I probably know the answer to anyway. It’ll be Johnson. As long as his goals are replaced, I’m on board.
We need an another Kudus basically. Already very reliant on him as an outball against better sides and as the main creator against weaker sides like Burnley. No one else comes close to offering what he does.

I see Savinho as that guy for the LW.

We can't be in a position where we are relying on Odobert and Tel to start meaningful games for us. It's not good enough for a club of this size.

needs work, but it's not a million miles away

Odobert Solanke Tel

Bergvall Gray Kulusevski

Udogie Danso Dragusin

Kinsky

Full Back, Midfielder and a Winger would be fantastic

Despite the performance and result we still need the same.

We are limited on the subs we can make in big games, we dont have the quality depth.

Once the midweek games kick in we will be fooked and forced to start and rely on players that are simply not ready.

Savinho
Paz

At a minimum.

Johnson definitely the most at risk, he’d benefit from competition.

But I don’t think it’s necessarily about dropping anyone from this 11, but about having the right mix of player profiles. We won’t want to be playing this midfield against teams that sit back against us, need a creative player. If we’re down 1-0 today, you’re grasping at straws a bit on who to bring in to chase a goal.

Our front 3 is still pretty unproven and injury prone, getting one more player up there, especially after Son’s departure, still seems prudent. If our current players are undroppable up there all season, all the better, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

Nothing has changed. Such a predictable response after a very good win.

Same needs, but as before, try not to pay excessive amounts for unproven talent.

The poor possums who wanted to lay into Levy/ENIC and Frank, will just have to wait, although one hopes as fans they are happy about the result.

One wonders at times, or maybe time for another name change.

Johnson at risk. Oh shut up.

If the vision is for Johnson to combine with Richy or Solanke to form our main goal threat, we’ll need a mirror of Kudus on the left so that Frank has options. I suppose this could be the thinking for someone like Savinho.

Even Joe Cole doesn’t think levy will spend on any ready to go players. Everyone knows what levy is like now.

Joe Cole can do one.

Levy really does need to stick to some of his model but be made to realise that the best way for us to succeed is by pushing that boat out once in a while, as he did for two bellies and Lo Costlio

Serious question however, but who satisfies that criterion that we are supposedly after or might be available?

Gibbs-White and Eze, for me, aren't brilliant. I know some think Eze is mercury, but... so who are we talking about who fits the ready-made and special?

People sometimes trot out stuff but without making actual sense. Joe Cole - not you

Nothing suggests the plan is to play 442.

........Fuck trying it too.

Sick of giving up the midfield battle.

4231 / 433 / 352
