He's a pure #10 we need right now. Really good at making key chances even against teams that park the bus. His passing accuracy is top-notch. He's really good at ball retention and he was top #2 dribbler back in La Liga (#1 was Vinicus). He can change the game when played correctly, like he did against us a few weeks ago.. He is very versatile. Can play anywhere. CM, CAM, LW, RW, false 9, etc.

He used to be one of the most loved players along with Son in Korea but he also has many haters now bc of what he did to Son during the Asian Cup.

Kudus has already become ridiculously important to us. Think we will struggle to score without him on the pitch.

We can live with Palhinha's absence if we're not playing a big 6 side.

Bentancur/Bergvall/Sarr will do fine.

Also he's the only natural LW we had. I'm not too confident in Odobert, Tel and Johnson playing there. Johnson scored today, ok, but he doesn't offer anything when he doesn't score. Moore is agressive and would give a lot more trouble to defenders imo. Just hope Odobert stays away from any injuries and prove himself.
 
Johnson gets some pelters in here considering the amount of goals he contributes. He made some cracking runs today, playing off the shoulder, but the balls never came on time and hence he was caught offside. I am not his biggest fan, but already see significant improvement in work rate and general play on last season. He got tired at the end and was rightly subbed.
Cannot start every game, hence the need for a Savinho type, but a great player to have, can play either side and scores for fun,despite how frustrating he can be at times.

We are stuck as a club, and as posters, who can't separate dislike for a player and their ability.

And on Eze, my last comment until we play them. I guess had we made him our primary summer target, in his position, he might have felt more inclined. We went for Gibbs-White as choice number one. Maybe Eze thought we didn't want him badly enough when all were available, so why should he care that he ultimately chose that lot. I dunno.

Well im sure we will start to get some news soon.
There must have been talks and a tabled bid today.
Having said that the rumours were that we were preparing a bid around or just above 60m but city have been clear the price is 70m
