Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Paratici was also in attendance in the Chelsea-Palace game last week. Amounted to nothing.

Not sure why City would drag their feet to such an extent though, if rumours of us offering over 60M are true. With how many wingers they have, he'll just collect dust sitting on the bench for the majority of the season.

Nor is this an instance of a refusal to sell to a direct rival. We are nowhere close to them at the moment.

I think we will be lucky if these clowns get any deals over the line

It beggars belief that we haven’t seen anything materialize yet after they got played by out biggest rivals.

Probably won't know til Monday whether they've been busying away since Friday or not.

.....But they need to pull a serious rabbit out the hat next week; that's for sure.

It's Manchester City. They don't have to sell anyone they don't want to, and they know it.

Five years ago, with a healthier and more confident outlook between Pep and their leadership, they would ruthlessly axe Savinho the way they did Leroy Sane and not give a shit that they're giving the buyer a great deal.

But that's not today's City, and the club seems reluctant to sell.

But he can maybe get an even bigger pay rise in the summer. As deluded as I am, I know that Rogers isn’t pushing for a move to the type of wages we offer.

We just put Kudus on 150kpw; suggesting we'd do at least the same for Rogers (as an even more expensive player)...... eg 175kpw.... Thus a 100kpw payrise.

Don't think he's coming though..... It's a suicide move from AVs point of view.

We all blamed Levy for this one, and he still is partially is to blame for all his fucking about in getting the deal done.

But imagine we had signed him and it came out later that when the deal was almost done with us, he was phoning up Legohead and begging him to sign him so he could join his beloved Arse…

Fuck that.

I’m glad we never got him.

Levy does need to stop fucking about and winding all these other chairmen up with his antics, but it seems that whether he’d fucked about all weekend trying to haggle for every last penny, or if he’d agreed to Palace’s demands and got the deal done sharpish last week, Eze still would’ve been on the blower to Lego, desperate for Woolwich to come in for him.

True, they are mid-table.

I agree.

We have no 10's but thats the 1 signing i want. I quite like the high energy workman like midfield 3. Not ideal but thats what id choose

We need more of course, but, there has been a few times in each game so far (3 or 4 today in fact) where we’ve won the ball and Richy has found himself with it on the centre circle, we’ve looked dangerous when he rolls it out to Kudus who a few times has found himself 1v1, thinking how good we could be on breaks and transitions if a player like Savinho was available the other way, again 1v1 is incredible.

I highly doubt City will sell him to us, but if we did get him you can definitely see the plan, teams would hate defending us out wide and be unable to double up.

Not enough.

And he is largely untested, and nkt quite there, or he would be starting and we wouldn't be chasing.

Much as I think we need the signing for the optics, I think the specific need is to solidify the middle of the park. Move a pointless Bissouma on.

And ideally for me, find a potent striker.,possibly at the expense of one of the other two. Not happening but....

Savinho would be good. We need more

If we offer the reported sums, City would be mad to decline. They can reinvest in defenders. They need them..

I don't get all the laughing mojis o_O
Just because people are dissatisfied with Levy's lack of action in the transfer market (well, you can't blame him for missing out on MSG & Eze) it doesn't mean that Spurs should stop scouting young talent.
Abubacarr Sedi Kinteh is a 18 years old left-footed CB who's already one of the best in the Eliteserien in Norway. The article simply states that Spurs had scouts watching him - and no mention of Spurs putting in a bid (Tromsø have already rejected a €5m bid from Slavia Praha ). That's all. Nothing wrong. He could turn into a monster of a CB or turn out to be an ordinary CB. None of us knows (yet)...

Fab.... Can we chuck all this in the oppo trf thread now tho......

Couldn't give a toss about him anymore.

Man City on paper have a stronger team than Liverpool or Woolwich IMO but they are screwed if Pep’s fire in the belly is no longer there. Pep is an emotional guy if he has checked out they are going to just go through the motions.
I don't think they do have a better 11 than either of those sides tbh.
Trafford, Ait Nouri, Lewis as 3 of your back 5 is pants.
Haaland, Foden and Rodri the only clear elite starters.
Bernardo Is not the force he was.
The likes of Cherki, Marmoush, Bobb, Doku are mostly just potential at this stage.

Better squad depth yeah but not a better 11.

As ever it will come down to who has least injuries.
