No, City are going to be nowhere when they lose the best coach of his era and his dynastic seizure of an absurdly rich and deep and competitive league is only going to look more incredible in retrospect.

Yea I think he's just over it right now- likely just stacking some more cash before plotting his exit.

I guess you would have to say though that he was the best coach of his era in the Prem.

Milan have offered €27m for Conrad Harder. 20 year old Danish (TF link 😉) striker, plays for Sporting.

Definitely worth a punt for that money.

Plus, it’d be good value to hear commentators shouting “HARDERRRRRR” after he scores.

I just hope we are after a couple of attackers and their names haven’t broken in the media yet. Can’t say I’m enthralled with any of the names linked now. I’m still sceptical we will bring someone in now anyway. Haven’t sold enough players from the squad like Solomon and Bissouma.

We all blamed Levy for this one, and he still is partially is to blame for all his fucking about in getting the deal done.

But imagine we had signed him and it came out later that when the deal was almost done with us, he was phoning up Legohead and begging him to sign him so he could join his beloved Arse…

Fuck that.

I’m glad we never got him.

Levy does need to stop fucking about and winding all these other chairmen up with his antics, but it seems that whether he’d fucked about all weekend trying to haggle for every last penny, or if he’d agreed to Palace’s demands and got the deal done sharpish last week, Eze still would’ve been on the blower to Lego, desperate for Woolwich to come in for him.

We dodged a bullet. Better this guy didn't came here, very unprofessional.

We need more of course, but, there has been a few times in each game so far (3 or 4 today in fact) where we’ve won the ball and Richy has found himself with it on the centre circle, we’ve looked dangerous when he rolls it out to Kudus who a few times has found himself 1v1, thinking how good we could be on breaks and transitions if a player like Savinho was available the other way, again 1v1 is incredible.

I highly doubt City will sell him to us, but if we did get him you can definitely see the plan, teams would hate defending us out wide and be unable to double up.

Yer I see it very similar.

Team will very soon just look to nullify kudus knowing that hes the main threat in transitions and creativity.
I think have 2 scorching 1v1 wingers that can get out of situations even when there being doubled up on will really take us up a big level, especially in the big games.

Similar to klopps 433 when they had mane-firmino-salah and a midfield 3 of fabinho (palhinha) Henderson (sarr) and wijnaldum (bents).

Its a really effective system in the modern day pl. You can tweak the balance of the midfield 3 based on who you are playing and you can allow you're front 3 to stay further forwards with a solid base behind them.

Here’s a hypothetical that won’t ever happen. But if you had the choice.

Morgan Rogers on his own for biiiiiig money. £80m+

Or;

Savinho AND a Paz/El Khannous etc.
We are led to believe we’ve bid £60m on both Eze and Savinho, we can hope for Rogers @ £80m AND the Leicester kid at £32m odd (so toughly £8m less and probably less wages).

But history has conditioned us, to suspect a lesser outcome than the rumours/signals suggest.

Personally think we’ll get Savinho and that’s it (or the second will be a left field late loan with option).

Not enough.

And he is largely untested, and nkt quite there, or he would be starting and we wouldn't be chasing.

Much as I think we need the signing for the optics, I think the specific need is to solidify the middle of the park. Move a pointless Bissouma on.

And ideally for me, find a potent striker.,possibly at the expense of one of the other two. Not happening but....

Savinho would be good. We need more

If we offer the reported sums, City would be mad to decline. They can reinvest in defenders. They need them..

Yes I agree, not enough. But im just emphasising where my priorities would lie going into the last few days of the transfer window. I see savinho as a must far more than anyone else.
I dont want players that aren't good enough. Bek, not good enough.

Let's be honest its been WEEKS since kudus. I have zero faith in the people leading the transfer dealings, they are inadequate for the positions they hold! They just need to accept they are right up against it and cough up the money.
