Whilst it’s not the most exciting signing, Cirkin with a year left on his deal and club trained (therefore a “free” CL spot) makes sense.
Don’t expect him to start much but 2 full back injuries puts us in a weak position.
 
The most frustrating thing is that we have the money to do these deals 100%!

We are always too focused on a good deal. We would rather get inferior players for a better value then get the best possible player.
Thats exactly why the product on the pitch has not matched the ambitions of the club. And then we have to buy more players because the options we previously chose were never upto it, they we just the best deal at the time.

We risk turning what has been a very good start to franks tenure into a wasted season where once again the wheels fall off.
 
I know a lot of people are focused on LW / AM but what the fuck do we do if Porro gets injured or just plain tired? OK, shift Spence but not as if Udogie is dependable.

Another fullback option just as much a priority IMO.
