Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

My guess is the Paz bid will get rejected. BEK will be a spurs player by the end of next week. And the city thing will drag out until next Monday. Can't see anything being sorted until the middle of next week. You would have thought we would have learned our lesson with players because if these players don't get signed who we are linked with it is panic buying
I'm not sold on either Paz or BEK. Think both won't offer enough physicality to be I a prem midfield 3. I don't care how many tricks and skills they have.

My orde of preference are unrealistic but it's the below:

1. Rogers
2. Paqueta
3. Mainoo

The other names we are linked with don't offer the same traits Sarr has. Yes they are more technical but so is Bergval who could turn out just as good as Paz, BEK or the Monaco lad. I don't see any sense in spending big money on any of them 3. The 3 names I mentioned above as my preferences would all walk into our team and immediately improve us.

When are people going to realise Citeh are taking the piss?!

I’ll be very surprised if we sign him. They’re leading us on IMHO.
We need an answer from them within the next couple of days. If not, we need to move on to our next target for LW. We simply can’t allow ourselves to get strung along again.

Why is it we’re the only big club that has these sagas with all the twists and turns? All the other big teams seem to know prior to the move if the player wants to come, what it’ll take to get the deal done with the selling club and get it all wrapped up with minimal fuss.

Heads should roll for the public embarrassment they’ve caused the club in this window, and January tbh. I’d start with Lange, what fucking use is a Sporting director that can’t convince anyone to sign for one of the biggest clubs in the country on the back of a major European trophy win?

Paz absolutely has the physicality for the PL

He’s so physical people even think he’s not elegant enough.

I’d just drop it now and move on.

City aren’t going to do us any favours and I’m sure if we’re talking that they want €80m then there are better options to be had.

Why would City sell to us? They don’t need the money and there’s plenty of bad blood between the two clubs - Kane, Levy vocal about the 115 charges and to top it off we’ve just humiliated them at their gaff!

I just do not see it happening.

The Paz thing is ridiculous and soooo Levy. We offer 40mil€ . Como knock it back and say they want 70mil (understandable given Real get half, even if it is over paying) so we come back and offer 50 mil.
It’s pathetic the way he operates. He’ll come out and say ‘we tried’. No you didn’t Daniel, you put up an offer you know will fail. Stop hoodwinking the supporters, we’re over it.

City need players.

Don't be surprised to see them buy or have a bifld accepted before anything moves re: Savinho.

In the meantime one hopes we are looking elsewhere for other areas that need strengthening. Not looking, close to sealing.

Not true.

Im hoping for a top secret release clause we can activate…..

“Having missed out on Eze, Tottenham are also showing interest in West Ham attacking midfielder Lucas Paqueta along with Aston Villa.

Paqueta has endured a difficult time after facing betting allegations and is open to leaving for a Champions League club.”

Mainoo is not a 10. He’s more like Sarr, a box to box 8 type. No more creative than Sar, who’s proving to be great under Frank.

I do think the buyback with RM will increase their urgency to do a deal before it becomes active, of course they want to extract as much as they can because of the sell on clause as well but they should be acutely aware that 50% of €50-60m is still far more than €9m. RM will happily let him develop another year then buy him back to either integrate him into the squad or sell him immediately for a huge profit having let Como do all the hard work and then reaping all the reward.
