Their chairman gave actual quotes today saying that we didn’t bid and no club would bother because of Real.

Paz seems like one where his agents have been happy for rumored interest to spread publicly to build the kids reputation.

If we don’t get a 10 in by the time the TW closes, would like to see Porro rotated with Sarr / Bergvall for the 10 spot, until Kulu / Madds returns from injury.

Porro’s attacking play is better than his defensive side, has a great shot from distance and is also good at through passes to our attackers.

If Udogie / Spence is unavailable for whatever reason, Porro can go back to his RB spot, or just be rotated with our FBs to provide fresh legs.

Most of the winter. In EPL that does mean missing 6 games. Europe is on pause in this time and in domestic cups I believe we survive.

Africa Cup of Nations 2025: Which Premier League players are going to tournament?

BBC Sport's Ask Me Anything team looks at every Premier League player who has been confirmed to feature at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Afcon lasts for four weeks from Sunday, 21 December, 2025 to Sunday, 18 January, 2026.

Six rounds of Premier League fixtures are due to take place between those dates, as well as the third round of the FA Cup and the semi-final first legs of the EFL Cup, meaning that there is a total of eight matches some players may miss.

Added to the competition time all international managers seem to demand the players arrive at least 2 weeks before the competition start for 'training' . If that happens, its a 6 week break and more PL games missed.

And not mentioned by BBC is the CL 'League phase' runs until end of January so players going to Afcon might well miss 3 or so CL games - vital for Spurs to progress and avoid the extra 2 Play off games. CL match dates at risk

Matchday 6: 9/10 December 2025
Matchday 7: 20/21 January 2026
Matchday 8: 28 January 2026

It's Tuesday today, 6 days left to bring in at least 2 signings.
I just can't see it happening now, club doesn't look to have any strategy other than opportunity which is failing.
A real shame considering what fine work the management team have done in a short space of time.
