In a window they have failed (again) to sign what the team needs.

They aren’t at the level to recruit what we need,

This started with you complaining they have signed a back up FB, let alone a starting AM…

Surely you can see this window for the shambles it is?

If there's a 28 year old who improves the side and you can sign him, then sign him and continue to look for a younger player in that position over the next couple of years. The value is in having that player contributing to the side for that 3 years or so, not everything has to have resale value in order to be worthwhile.

hes crap, which is why frank clearly favours odobert over him whos a similar age and cost less.

not everyone comes good with time, tel is a shoddy piece of recruitment, bayern are fucking laughing. they flogged a bag of shit to us for big dough, added 20m and got fucking diaz....laughable from us. thank god pal mitigates that whole deal so we havent got completely mugged off by them.

best thing to do with tel is stick him out on loan, hes going to cost us if he gets minutes here this year, just like he did in the supercup. way out of his depth.
 
i'm not as pessimistic as some. ideally i'd like to replace the davies cover position and add an attacker who can play on both wings that would allow kudus to play the 10 when needed. don't want a sarr/bergvall clone that takes away from their development. if we can move biss, another higher quality 6/8 type would be great but not holding my breath for it.

don't think a big reinvention is in the cards this year, but i'm also optimistic about the younger players developing under frank. madders and deki coming back will be a big help too. more than anything i'm ready for this fookin window to close and just get on with it.

I said we are capable of signing an additional RB.

We are..... (If we don't that's a failure; I said as much in my first post).
