hes crap, which is why frank clearly favours odobert over him whos a similar age and cost less.

not everyone comes good with time, tel is a shoddy piece of recruitment, bayern are fucking laughing. they flogged a bag of shit to us for big dough, added 20m and got fucking diaz....laughable from us. thank god pal mitigates that whole deal so we havent got completely mugged off by them.

best thing to do with tel is stick him out on loan, hes going to cost us if he gets minutes here this year, just like he did in the supercup. way out of his depth.

You might be right, but it's rarely linear and progress and development comes at different moments. Let's hope against the evidence thus far.

More depth needed but prefer to get 1st team ready have enough coming through.

And seeing the good start by us and poor from others should be incentive.

Will be a shame if at least 1 new good player isn't found. Preferably attacking or Dembele esk

Is this true? I recall a major fault in the wiring of safety systems delayed the opening by a few months, but otherwise everything was on schedule. This would have entailed extra costs, but nowhere near hundreds of millions.
There were multiple delays from the get go. Design changes, potential location changes, arguments with West Ha, Lammy the MP, Archway steel. They started talking about development/new stadium right from the start in the early 00's and it finally opened in 2019.

Here we go... Levy finally gets the CAM we are looking for... my chairman!!!

i'm not as pessimistic as some. ideally i'd like to replace the davies cover position and add an attacker who can play on both wings that would allow kudus to play the 10 when needed. don't want a sarr/bergvall clone that takes away from their development. if we can move biss, another higher quality 6/8 type would be great but not holding my breath for it.

don't think a big reinvention is in the cards this year, but i'm also optimistic about the younger players developing under frank. madders and deki coming back will be a big help too. more than anything i'm ready for this fookin window to close and just get on with it.

Not being pessimistic is the new optimistic.

Its the fact he gets away with it year after year, its rinse and repeat for decades now, but if you're Levy why would you do anything different from the "we tried" and "it's difficult" narrative when you know you're coining it and there is literally no repercussions.
I get the frustration, but at least we are trying and if the other team doesn't want to sell or the objective is a Woolwich fan, WHAT CAN YOU DO ?
We obviously had our targets.

I said we are capable of signing an additional RB.

We are..... (If we don't that's a failure; I said as much in my first post).

Stop trying to strawman me.

Sure, they are capable of signing a RB,

They won’t though

And they won’t sign the other key positions we need either because they don’t have the ability. MGW and Eze in particular exposed them for not being able to do the deals we really needed this summer.

All the while 40m wiped off the budget and Moore getting pished on in Scotland

More pertinently; what was the OG complete date slated to be?

When we first started talking about building it is irrelevant.

IIRC we were meant to move home in summer 18 and had to spend an extra 6 months at Wembley.
