Nothing to do with match fitness. Frank doesn't fancy him. He said Richy is his guy at #9. And obviously so, he's the much better player.I think we need to see Solanke nack to match fitness, playing in Frank's system.
He's a very good player.

Is that supposed to be a negative for him???Paqueta would be decent for us but there’s just no way West Ham sell to us again this summer. Sullivan would have to stay away from the London Stadium for the next 6 months if he did it.
Oh right so league 2..3 levels below the PL. Point remains he’s nowhere near the PL, let him get that far before you compare him to kids his age who are already there.
Your "fact" was based on goals exclusively, and you carefully selected 2 seasons as your sample size. But Isak is a more than a goal every other game in his PL career this far, Solanke is not even even 1 in 4.
You are wrong on this. He’s not a bad playerPeople say this, we didn't give him chances etc. BJ scored nearly 20 goals, most of which were from about 2 yards out. And he had chances, he just couldn't score them.
He doesn't fit this system really either. Richy is better at holding up the ball, and knows where to be. Richy's issue has always been fitness, and for that season he was suicidal, clearly his head wasn't in it.
He's more expensive deadwood that we panicked into signing. Hos replacement at Bournemouth is a far better player, we just don't recruit very well.

I'm sure Solanke is a good lad, we know he is hard working, but which ever way you look at it he is a mid-table number 9!He’s a good player, does everything well apart from scoring enough goals to be top class. Does a lot of work for Johnson as an example, that enables him to play off the ball and run in behind.
Delap is a scruffy player, no first touch. Will not make it at Chelsea
Oh, I remember that. Also remember when he came, it didn't quite pan out that way.
I have no faith he'll score when he plays. When I saw the few being banded about, I was disgusted, and I was just on Reddit at the time and they were all delighted with it. It was a disgrace and even half that is questionable.
Before pen was put to paper, it was so obvious he'd need replacing sooner rather than later.
The transfer fee wasn't 40mil
10m loan fee + 30m with add ons is pretty close.
£8m loan fee. £30m transfer, agent fees and sign on, probably £43-45m.The transfer fee wasn't 40mil
You forgot to add hotel fee's, taxi's and breakfast's at the club, kit washing and Netflix subscription....

This guy also just said Flange signed Micky, Vicario, Vuskovic and someone else I can't even mind, to highlight what a top job he's done.
Isak has a million more strings to his bow than Dom and is the best striker in the league. Dom runs around good, that's about it.
And no, I think he's worth about £90m more, because Solanke isn't worth close to £65m.
25 goals over 2 seasons, when all your contribution is running and scoring is shocking, quite frankly.
How do you know that?
There’s no way to know what really happened. All we know is that we thought we had a way to take the player we wanted and it failed.
We failed.
FYPThis thread really is a pleasure to read when posters are not whinging about Levy and actually talking about potential transfers.
Well yeah, richy had 2 goals, including a worldie in the first game.Nothing to do with match fitness. Frank doesn't fancy him. He said Richy is his guy at #9. And obviously so, he's the much better player.
I selected 2 seasons because solanke was in championship beforehand.Your "fact" was based on goals exclusively, and you carefully selected 2 seasons as your sample size. But Isak is a more than a goal every other game in his PL career this far, Solanke is not even even 1 in 4.
Those are facts.
