Is that some weird formula they use to get that figure or is it real world - does it actually mean that 97 percent of Aston Villa's turnover goes to pay wages?
So a five percent reduction in turnover would see them screwed?
That can't be right.

Standard saying today Dragusin isnt back until late this year and he'll obviously take a couple of months to get upto speed. Really dont think you can rely on him until February at best. So 6 defenders (not counting Takei as yet) to cover 4 positions for 6 months is clearly insane.
We need a 3rd striker.
Richarlison will get injured. Solanke won't score enough. Johnson will but he ain't a striker.
How did he forget???!
Any one of Savinho, Paqueta, Mainoo and Simmons makes the window ok. Not good, and not good enough, but not a disasterIf this is even remotely true and we have a run at Simons, there better not be any excuses for why we failed .
Pay him the same as Romero and give him Son’s #7 shirt.
If we make one signing and it’s Simons, the window hasn’t been a total disaster
From a year out with an ACL? It takes ages to get back to a good level. How long did it take for Bentancur to look back to his pre injury form?It won't take him two months to "get up to speed"
I thought that he was in light training now?
The end of the day Levy won't be sanctioning another CB buy.

I found it genuinely weird the reaction to Pal when it broke. Those posters either didn't watch his PL games for Fulham, or watched through lilywhite spectacles. Guy was absolute quality for Fulham. Many in here said that Palhinha couldn't make a forward pass worthy of a PL footballer.
I'd take either Lookman or Pacqueta rather than trying to shoehorn an existing player into their position.
You’re in cloud cuckoo land if you think Solanke is worth £30m!

All make him considerably more expensive than any other position on the pitch!
Lange's in a foreign land,paul simon ehh?
i met daniel levy on the street last night
i asked him who we signing, he just smiled
i said, we need three players
but only get fake transfer leaks

I disagree tbh. He is a bit close to Bergvall as a player, though I think more incisive. I think either of them could potentially do a decent job at no.10 and no.8. I also discount the Man U shitshow and take his form when he came into the team as a better indication of his potential. I think under Frank we'd have a great player within a season. Would be enough - if not ideal - to get us through the no.10 issue until Kulu and Madders return.Mainoo isn’t in the list for me.
He doesn’t solve anything except another youngster for numbers
Talking to levy the sound of silencepaul simon ehh?

Newcastle. Though I doubt they'd pay £60m.Who would buy him?
No one else was interested when we bought him - and he is a year older
