Latest from Sky Sports News' Andy Hawkins:Middlesbrough have made it clear that Hayden Hackney is not for sale in the final few days of the window amid interest from the Premier League.
West Ham, Fulham and Everton have all shown interest in Hackney this summer, but there have been no formal offers yet.
Boro feel it is too late in the window to sign an adequate replacement, and they have made a strong start to the campaign.
Sky Sports News understands Hackney has made it clear to the club that if a Premier League club comes in, it is his dream to play in the top flight.
Boro were believed to be open to selling Hackney earlier in the window, but no Premier League offers materialised.
Hackney turned down a potential move to Championship rivals Ipswich earlier in the window.

This is Matt Law farming clicks and setting up the inevitable "haha Spurs rejected by another player" when he goes to his beloved Chelsea, even though we probably aren't that in for him anyway.
they are also aware that it seems a couple of years there playing a few europa and league cup games staying match fit doesn't harm your chances at all of leaving and getting picked up elsewhere - see Dewsbury-Hall, Felix, that Chukuema whoever it is thats gone to Dortmund etc
