Bowen is - by far - their most gifted player...but okay.
 
So it appears that Simons is our last chance of getting a good player that improves the starting line up. So when that ineviltably falls through its maybe 1 squad player or nothing. We've lost Son and Maddison + Kulu for 6 months. Heads need to roll and not just Langes as some sacrificial lamb.

It's way more positive than 2018 (and January 2019, which was the low point) but it does have a lot of 2023 vibes when injuries and the failure to sign a third centre half blew up a positive start.
