John McClane convention?

If you watch Bruno and think he's great, then you're an idiot. Plain and simple.

Can't retain the ball
Can't shield the ball
Not a great dribbler
Headless chicken presser
Can't play the simple pass
No athleticism
Constantly turns the ball over with stupid attempted passes
Constant petulance

Anything else I'm missing? I swear you only know football through FIFA ye balloon.
Well you got constant petulance correct but the rest you are way off

It’s not superstition. They aren’t Spurs players until it’s officially announced so don’t create a thread in the ‘Tottenham Hotspur’ board.

Difficult to say how good he is. He has good stats overall every single season so far in his career. Excellent ball carrier and dribbler, strong mentality and really backs himself.

Hes undoubtedly better than paz right now and hes only 22 himself.
I think in terms of overall quality you can probably throw a blanket over eze/mgw/simons but simins is 22, by far the youngest and the most experienced internationally, champions league etc

He can play no 10 or left equally as good. In bigger games we could use sarr at 10 to keep things solid and use simons at lw.

If I had to score all the no10 we have been linked to in terms of preference id probably go with...
MGW>SIMONS>ROGERS>EZE>PAZ
To have MGW or Rogers over Paz is pure English bias… Paz is literally going to play and star for Real Madrid in a years time and is already an Argentinian international (who are the current World champs btw!)

I understand it’s all a question of opinion but this is clear English and PL bias.

Well, I’ll leave those threads to Admin Admin .

PL bias is to an extent sensible though, at least in so far as a playing having proven himself in the PL is a hugely relevant indicator of future success

True but some of these cited players barely play or don’t play for the England National Team, who let’s be honest, are not exactly a barometer of success either.

All good players and I would have been happy with any of them, just the bias that’s annoying (although, again, it’s all subjective at the end of the day)

Well maybe so but I was basing it on how good I think they are right now.
I have sung the praises of paz loads on here, hes a future star but he has still got a long way to go and the playing style in seria a is alot less intense.
All the players i named ahead of him are much further along and ready to go from day 1 compared to paz.

I would still be very suprised if paz makes it a real madrid, let alone next year. Have you seen the competition he has there?

Lastly you can forget the English bias.....im Italian!

I sincerely hope the club is not as fucking stupid as I think they are. If you want to try to get in for Simons fine but I hope they realize that in all likelihood they are only driving the price up for Chelsea given the transfer has been agreed basically all summer. It would take a miracle for him not to go Chelsea, and we must proceed with other plans in parallel.

But given the Eze saga it appears they don’t do backup plans.
