What is this about people just believing Simons is just stalling and could sign for us right now if he wanted.

I have not seen anywhere suggesting that Leipzig have accepted our offer, which is quite a fundamental missing piece of the jigsaw.

Agree like I don’t understand the obsession with Chelsea. They have prioritised Gittens, Garnacho and a host of inferior players over Xavi this summer. He clearly can’t be high up on their priority list, in fact Simons looks like he’s at the bottom.

Meanwhile he’d be our new star building the team around. I know we’re Spurs fans but wtf are we missing here? Why would he want to be back up to Palmer over starring for us? It’s mental
 
I also found out today that Moutinho had actually signed the fucking contract to come from Porto, but last minute haggling by you know who meant we missed the deadline by a minute.

That's Joao Moutinho who was better than most of our midfield at 35 or whatever he was at Wolves.
