Maybe. Ultimately when it came down to it I think he couldn’t face signing for another PL team and Munich was just too big of a draw. After being there for the friendly earlier this month I can see why. It’s a sweet gig for a player playing for the biggest team in a one team league. The arrogance and confidence that they have in that stadium before a ball is kicked is huge. It’s like a combination of Liverpool and Man U.

Plus the city is nice and the Germans are a decent lot. A hell of a lot of worse places to play football for a huge wage a week.

Chelsea have to sell a player to be able to sign a player, per FFP rules to be allowed to play in the Champions League.

Nkunku out meant they had space for Garnacho. Now, they have to move Nicolas Jackson out to make room for Simons. Reading a Chelsea forum, their fans aren’t sure they can move him to Bayern anymore and Newcastle isn’t buying Jackson after moving for Woltemade.

Now, Leipzig want to play Simons on Saturday (hence the 48-hour London window), if a deal isn’t finalized with us or Chelsea. So, Chelsea have to move Jackson tomorrow or Simons is likely headed to N17 (or back to Leipzig).

In short, watch the Nicolas Jackson news tomorrow.

All Chelsea has to do is just get any taker for Jackson, anyone at all. That’s obviously getting done.

If Simons doesn’t sign tonight it’s over

Night lads. I'll leave you with the truth. Akilouche deadline day the paper work didn't go through in time, Ademola Lookman ( he'll surprise the doubters by bringing the same goals and better link play from wide forward than BJ. That's it that's what will happen that's all.
