Must admit, I was absolutely gutted when I seen Woolwich had hijacked the Eze move. Couldn’t see any other number 10’s out there that were even close to that level and was convinced we were gonna end up with a BEK special on deadline day. I didn’t even consider Simons as for some reason I thought he’d already signed for Chelsea.
Fair play to Levy and the club for this one, they’ve managed to bring in an absolute superstar. He’s got the potential to be miles better than Eze, fuck, he might even be better already. If he adapts well to the league and hits even close to the numbers he’s been getting at other clubs we’re laughing.
Now go and get a top left winger and maybe a left sided centre half and we’ll be golden.

Problem with the Dutch is that they're a temperamental bunch and if the going gets tough their straight talking nature = arguments galore. The national team have had some big dressing room bust ups in the past.
If we pull this off, then Levy will be walking round with his balls in a wheelbarrow today, literally pretended to bid for Eze so Woolwich would swoop in while leaving Chelsea thinking they had a free run at Simons, just to swoop in at the end and get the better player!!!!
