To be fair Eze is being compared to attacking midfielders and winger while Simons is being compared to “midfielders” which I’d imagine inflates the percentiles on his attacking metrics quite a bit. (Though to be clear I agree that Simons is more exciting than Eze due to age and ceiling, just instinctively feel the need to call out misleading data viz.)
The reported 7-year contract gives us a pretty good insurance policy against itchy feet.
Garnacho is more of a winger. Simons is, afaik, more of a 10/AM
My Chelsea friend seems to think they care more about wingers at the moment.
Be interesting if they do go for a 10 to cover/push Palmer.

Nice stats but the PL is a different level. Hopefully he can hack it here, after Ndombele and Lo Celso I won’t be getting ahead of myself.
He looks like he could be an exciting player in this league but it will be a big step up for him. Thankfully I think Frank is the perfect manager to help him adapt.
