I’ve been a big defender of Odobert and particularly Tel on here and want them to get minutes this season but we need a new starting LW. if anything to take the pressure off them. They should be understudies at this stage in their development. And I don’t hate Brennan Johnson as a supersub this season while we wait for the coaches to work on his basic skills.
Savinho looks perfect. I still have hope that deal will get done. The silence and lack of club leaks is a good thing. We’ve been made to look a little silly twice this summer. Hopefully the wheels are turning on this deal behind the scenes

Johnson is absolutely Frank's start LWF. Especially now with Simons at the 10.
We don't need him to carry the ball or hold it up, all he needs to do is run in behind or arrive at the back post. And tbh the guys is a fucking savant at picking the timing of his runs into scoring positions.
I know he’s just turned 25 but i think we bought spence to be part of this team. We’re buying pieces of a puzzle for a team to be roughly the same age when they peak. The first proper team rebuild since we beat poch’s team to death and let it peter out

I like odobert but I think there’s a chance we loan him out. He’d come back a better player if he played 30 plus games for someone this season.
