Rules stipulate 3 GKs. Unless you want to put a youth GK, Kinsky stays in.If we add someone else..... Drop Kinski.
Like you said Davies <> New defender is an easy solution too.
So is LW in <> Tel or Odo................. If one prefers not to drop Kinski.
I just don't think it need to be a big issue........ Other than we're probably not making the most of our wage output; but it's pretty low anyway so, honestly, who cares....?
If we sign a LW then one of Tel/Odobert goes in loanYeah but your opinion on the player doesn't make it reasonable to expect the club acts the way you think.
You could say that they sign an attacking player then leave one of Tel/Odobert out the CL squad but that's also pretty unlikely.
Occam's Razor is the club is done with attacking incomings and the most we see is a defender.
Cheeky Kane bid before window close?
Imagine a 20+ goal machine without assists but with with Kudus, Simons, (with dreams and hope) Lookman/Savio.
Why are we always the almost men.
Agreed. LCB/LB is priority for me nowRules stipulate 3 GKs. Unless you want to put a youth GK, Kinsky stays in.
Davies <> defender is the most I can see happening and tbh our biggest need if you look at our last 2 seasons.
As for LW, Johnson starts atm, if you sign a LW to start over him, they need to be someone you are sure scores 20 ish goals because that's what Johnson gives you and without Son we are already short of a load of goals. The names linked don't fill me with much confidence they would have the same output as Johnson tbh.
NO IDEA
when I describe Spurs to Spanish people over the course of my life and before the internet or satellite tv so in a time when knowledge of English clubs was zero, I always said we do win stuff fairly regularly but that we're known above all for our flair. we're regularly the best team to watch in the country over our history. it's who we are. and this is just my opinion, and I'm grateful for his goals, one in particular, but Brennan Johnson does not share Tottenham DNAIf you really read that quote back, it doesn’t make sense.
The games not about winning and losing?
It’s about glory? Surely glory comes in winning?
Then we are told to go out and beat the lot. But the game isn’t about winning?
I’d suggest an attacker that scores as many goals as Johnson does is the very epitome of glory. Who really fucking cares if he dribbles past three men and nutmegs the keeper to do it? Did you care when he sclaffed in the winner in Bilbao?
This need for skilful wingers that contribute maybe half a dozen goals and assists a season twists my melon.
A top club does not give a starting position in the team to someone out of gratitude for past heroics.
I also don't want to go to the other extreme like Real Madrid fans do and shit on their own players,
He can have a place on the bench as a supersub while we wait for him to develop basic football skills. he might be a late bloomer!
Hijacking both Chelsea and Woolwich in the same window would be soooooo delicious. This one ain't ssd.
Woolwich are in advanced talks for Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie, but a successful move hinges on the Gunners selling players before the transfer deadline.
With Monday's 19:00 BST cut-off looming, Woolwich want to add left-sided defender Hincapie to their squad.
Multiple sources have indicated an agreement is close for the Ecuador international, who has a £52m release clause, while the 23-year-old wants the move.
However, Woolwich are mindful of complying with Uefa's squad cost ratio regulations and want to ensure players are sold before completing a deal for Hincapie.
Nope.
Please no... It's just water now.Hijacking both Chelsea and Woolwich in the same window would be soooooo delicious.
"Wide Poacher", that's a new one to me
Let's just all agree that whatever he is, he can be improved on for a starting place in the team (and hopefully will be)
Johnson is absolutely Frank's start LWF. Especially now with Simons at the 10.
We don't need him to carry the ball or hold it up, all he needs to do is run in behind or arrive at the back post. And tbh the guys is a fucking savant at picking the timing of his runs into scoring positions.

He really isn't. Compare him to truly elite wide forwards like Mané, Salah. Even last season he was 18th for XG90 of players with 1000+ minutes. Obviously some of those were CF's but even most of them clocked better creative and team X-build up numbers than he did playing as a wide CF. he even managed to underscore his fairly meagre 11.16 XG.

Yeah, I was being a bit loose with the language... but it won't stop me teasing my Chelsea mates with it.Did we ‘hijack’ Chelsea? From what I can tell they didn’t bid for Simons and decided to go for the Barca lad.
Johnson high and wide on the other flank also offers license for Kudus to drift into midfield and be a ball-advancer extraordinaire, his greatest strength, plus offering the wing cover that Porro needs.Which i am saying I can't see happening with such a small amount of time left in the window... Solomon is still fucking here FFS.
That's also ignoring Johnson who is our starting LW at. He's also oe of our main sources of actual goals. Kudus and Simons create by habit, if we sign Savinho or Lookman are they replacing the goals that you get from Johnson? Nah, not for me they aren't.
