Tel will not be loaned out.

Levy hasn't paid 30mil+ for a player to be loaned out.

FFS use a bit of common sense.
One of him or Odobert is going to get virtually 0 minutes if we bring in another LW and end up on loan or shipped out permanently in January IMO. Whichever one of them has a bigger impact in rotation games and off the bench is likely to survive the chop but we are overloaded already in the position to the point Moore has been loaned and Solomon being sold, bringing in another left winger is unlikely to be a positive thing for Tel/Odobert's minutes, especially with Johnson offering goal contributions aplenty as a bench/rotation option for either wing.

I reckon we end up not signing anyone else purely because of the selection headache it brings for Frank this and next season, realistically we could have tried to engineer a loan with no option for a decent loan fee to a promoted PL club earlier in the window for Odobert to continue his development, giving Tel the chance at minutes so we can assess him here. Think it's all a bit late in the day now though.

Everyone is going to get minutes, we are playing 60+ games with 5 subs a game. Tel will gets lots of chances, he’s young and has top coaches surrounding him to improve his overall game.
And to add to this, these guys are professional athletes. Competition is good, and that’s how you get the best from players. In the case of young players, it helps you see what you’ve actually got with them. This is how a meritocracy operates; you earn your spot and it’s not just a given that you’re starting because we have no one else.

Good Lord, this team with Kane up front would challenge for the title. He’s have to have other attackers around him doing most of the hard pressing to keep him fresh at that age. He’d play deeper like sheringham natch. And he’s banned from free kicks! But he would breeze past Shearer’s record and win some silverware with us. It’s ok to daydream!

If we can show we've gotten our shit together in a season (I still have doubts, even with this late on transfer window), he may consider it.

We well and truly would have to be contenders this season though. Not just too 4, but genuinely a few wins away.

Bro this fanbase lose their mind at the concept of having cover in multiple positions which is even funnier since we have a coach who is known for chopping and changing his play style and lineup depending on who the opps are.

On that note, I’m hoping we have 2-3 base systems/styles, with interchangeable parts.

I’ll always appreciate Ange. Frank just seems a cut above. We have so much young talent. This window was phenomenal in terms of incomings.

We need to settle the outgoings. And I really believe more hardware is coming. Why not?

Apparently West Ham want £50m for Paqueta. Villa are supposedly most serious about him right now but we were interested until Xavi.

Who knows, maybe if Villa sign Paqueta, it could open things up for a Rogers move

This was posted an hour ago on SC from "The Goat" which is their anonymous ITK

"The Goat hears a CB is likely to be next, with Ake and Akanji, two names passed along. We did enquire about Nathan Collins at the start of the window but got a hard 'no'

Savinho is still possible, if not, then a deal for Lookman is being explored, this will probably run until Monday. Lee Kang-In was also mentioned but nothing about how serious or how far along that might be."

A load of bollocks, in other words.

Probably after another shakedown.
