I'm not having people turning their noses up at Lookman. He starts over Johnson and comes on ahead of Tel all day long. Would I rather Semenyo or Savio of course hell I'd take Duran from Saudi purgatory but we need better than BJ as a footballer and that's Lookman.

He’d be worth every penny IMHO.
I think he’s the best winger in the league. Salah obviously gets great numbers and Gordon’s up there but Semenyo’s all round game is so good, powerful, lightning quick but great technique and balance to go along with it and can see a pass. Porro won’t have a harder game all season. We won’t get him now but apparently he was open to the move at the start of the summer. We should have gone all out then. A lot of people on here were turning their nose up though

We did, or at least Levy thinks we did, the issue is his name is Archie Gray and he’s nowhere near ready. The transfers since Lange come in have been disgraceful in terms of actually competing right now. It’s as if we lined up 2027 as the year to actually do something and then just said figure it out until then.

Kudus, man can't do it all alone, he needs linkup etc plus Bournemouth crowded him out as our only threat.
That meant that every single time we tried to play forwards we lost it, and IF we did manage to get it forward the odd time there was zero creativity.
That was the problem today imo

Palhinha is a proper 6.
A proper 6 who unlocks defenses and generates attacking threat is just Rodri, and we'd need to launch a paramilitary invasion of the UAE to get him.
There ain’t really any strikers left out there to replace Solanke or Richy in this window.
But our biggest issue is lack of progressive passers in midfield. Stiller at Stuttgart would be perfect for us, if he has another season like his last Madrid or likely Bayern will be in for him, so this is really our last chance to get him. We need better than Bentancur in there, he’s just a shirt-filler, I’d happily bin him with Bissouma.
