Lookmam would be an improvement. He can actually look after the football once hes received it and can dribble both ways. We desperately need that to gain a foothold in tougher games.

Good delivery on him, good shot, looks like he links play fairly well, makes runs and is an very tricky customer for fullbacks.

He can play striker too I believe? Has plenty of experience in Europe too so wont be like a headless chicken in those games as i image johnson and tel would be.

Not a superstar but fairly shrewd. Turns 28 soon so very much a now signing.

Let's hope he does the business if we do sign him. I have doubts and it feels like a Levy special but hopefully he'll improve our lw.
It is worth consideration that we may well be buying him with a view to being able to deploy 2 up front situationally, PL defences don't often deal with 2 strikers anymore so it could be quite an effective way to force a goal when chasing a game. Simons is capable of playing left and you would be better placed to have 2 creative dribbly wide players in eg a 4-4-2, with either Bergvall or Sarr performing a B2B role to help transitions with Palhinha or Gray sitting deeper and screening the defence, of course you don't want to readily give up a man in midfield from the start most of the time but for instance yesterday vs Bournemouth we could have done with more presence in the box and a player closer to Richarlison to link up with when he's dropping deeper to provide options for the midfield.

Before we bought Kudus if you asked me who is better Lookman or Kudus I probably would have said Lookman. Kudus hasn’t been a bad signing. Kudus, Simons and Lookman would be a very good attack.

With a more productive MF in terms of passing, through balls, our LW becomes more effective.

We've scored 2 good goals from the LW this season when we passed through the oppos defensive line and found Johnson.
When he’s been positioned as an inside forward, which is where he would be in a front two.

He can’t play left wing. He’s only effective when he drifts inside.
