Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Current possibilities seem to be :

Kolo Muani (if Juve/PSG deal has totally collapsed)
Ademole Lookman

Nathan Aké (LCB maybe LLB) or Manuel Akanji (CB/RB/DM) - squad reinforcement, more versatile than Dragusin (injured due back shortly)

(nb. Savinho seems to be not moving as another forward at ManCity now injured plus they cannot get Rodrygo).

Unless a wild card pops up that's it ?

I wonder whether the Liverpool fans are writing thank you letters to John Henry or are they simply thinking it’s the least you can do , it’s your job mate .

Good window my arse, have we strengthened to the same degree or greater than our rivals?
When one considers how far behind them we were at the end of last season it’s another epic fail .

When we signed Simons it was a 7 with upward potential on links . Now with injuries and what appears to be no further high quality signings it’s a 6 at best imho
The transfer window should also be compared to how those around us have acted, we finished 17th yet Goons and Liverpool with better squads have had better windows than us, I get talk of the league this season is a bit premature, however if the aim was Top 5 we need to end up with a better squad \ Window then the likes of Villa and Newcastle etc.
I think when fit we have the better squad, but as soon as we start playing midweek our lack of depth is going to kill us.

Cherki injury put the final nail in the coffin of any chances of a deadline day move for Savinho

TF says he doesn't need another defender or attacker, now we're keeping Soloman, I think that's the end of our business for this window, apart from any outgoings.

Left wing is weak so
I know who can save us!!!!!

We've been trying to get rid of Solomon all summer and now the club will spin it, that Frank likes him and so we don't need a left winger.

By the way, what a fucking terrible signing he was, why did we even bother? because he was cheap and Levy thought we could flip him for a profit. Well that's going well.
Never quite understood what went wrong on that one

I think he is a talented player, proved it at Fulham where he looked decent, and again at Leeds after we loaned him

Not sure why he just never got a chance with us at all

Which isnt to say he would have been amazing or anything, but its like he never even got a proper shot

Agree, he actually looked ok when he got a few minutes. Must be that managers didn't rate him, or he didn't train well. Fuck knows
