Makes sense we'd prioritise a no.9 if the Solanke rumours are true. Especially if Solomon is staying as is also rumoured - not ideal but we do at least have bodies that can play on the left.
Plus RKM can play across the front 3 in a pinch whereas Lookman would solely play on the left.

We let these bums live at the club and then keep giving them contracts to ‘protect their value’ when they come close to going on a free.
Technically we could break the loan deals (possibly at a cost) to bring players back today so they can be registered in Spurs squad tomorrow (we cannot register them after tomorrow or move them outside a window).
Not like we are inundated with options and there’s also putting him in the shop window - if he’s on the bench it would indicate he’s fit enough for sale.
