If you had said that at the beginning of the window I would have taken it.
You forgot takai

Still no LB though, and I thought we needed a whole new mid after the end last season
Bentancur and bissouma just not great. And with both number 10s out long term, think we needed 2 of them

6 out of 10 window for me . Especially in the added context of being Europa cup winners and being in the CL

Would you if at the same time you were told Son would go , Maddison would be out for the season , Kulu comeback delayed for months and Solanke would have injury issues , leaving us with injury prone Richy as the only CF.

Obviously without all the issues I listed the incomings would seem enough , now we need more and super quick

Really decent window if we get RKM.

If someone had told me we'd sign those 4 this summer when we were sat in 15th and 1-0 down in the first leg at home to Frankfurt I would've assumed we must've been bought out by the Qataris.

We'd have been so fucked without that Europa win - don't think a single one of them joins otherwise.

I'm not sure why we're not in for players like Aleksandar Mitrović.

Proven PL scorer, and he scores hatfuls. Still a decent age (30... almost 31) and the kind of bastard that teams hate playing against. We could use someone like that for a year or two. Scored almost a goal a game in Saudi and now apparently wants to come back to London. If we need a temporary solution then he looks ideal.
He can’t run and is really limited but yeah, good squad option. Scores goals and can bully defenders for others

Why is that inept?
I hope due to implication that if Solomon is staying we are not bringing in another wide player?

Cause Solomon himself is not problem at all in my view. I remember him being quite sharp when he first joined. And also had good season in Championship.

I’m not talking replacements. When everyone is fit, he’s not even in the squad so replacing him is irrelevant.

I’m talking about being unable to sell him
