Never mind all this codswallop. He was always destine to play for:

Liverpool signing Guehi for 35 million is the deal of the window.

They really have had one of the best windows I've ever seen
I can't see anyone getting within 20 points of them, they are also my favourites for the CL.

Hopefully there are some crumbs in a lesser competition for us to hoover up and I think we can challenge for 5th which I think will mean CL football next season.

Liverpool are just light years ahead of everyone now.

Why would them selling a 30 y/o defender be a sign of anything in particular?

Them not signing players of note, and actually not signing defenders of quality is everything.

And Guardiola's silence. It's like acceptance that the baton has changed. I would not vecsurprised if he doesn't last this season, let alone the end of his latest 'last' contract.

Strewth, it's not even subtle. It's literally like City's owners have got bored.

The club’s usual play on transfer deadline day is to hold off on an announcement for a transfer like Muani until the end of the day and do it then so that it looks like we have been busy right up until the deadline. If we do confirm it ahead of then it could well mean that we are bringing someone else in

Is it possible they've got wind of 115 pieces of bad news?

Please let it be so.

Considering Son has gone, Maddison is out for the season, and we still haven't really filled Harry Kanes's gaping hole I think that's very, very generous.

Replacing Kane is impossible unless you expect us to get Isak or something and even then... 😵‍💫

The problem with you is that you don't give us any expectations at the start of the window and you always move the goalposts anyway, had we got all these players in you'd still find a way to downplay it as it gives your stinky agenda room to manoeuvre so you can point your fingers at the board.

Sneaky sneaky :sonpoint:
