Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

By our standards this window is a 10, but objectively it's probably a 7. It's a very decent window. Not counting Danso here as we had him. It's our best window for many years. Had we signed a Savinho or Semenyo as well as those we have then it would have a been a 10

Very much a Silvinho but a goal every other game end product.

Brilliant loan, WC year coming up so plenty of commitment to give.

Say what you like about the bald fucker but he's helped to make this a very good transfer window.

If our rivals had not done quite so much good business I think one could be more optimistic about the window . Feels like we have improved and yet lost ground in terms of squad quality . Frank over Ange hopefully proves a gap closer though

It amazes me how Every season Levy puils the same stunt and we have hoards of happy claps "Happy about the Window". Other teams finish their business way before window closes. They go after their No1 targets and make sure they get them. With us, it always what bargain we can strike at the end of the window. We have pre season to rake in millions from the east and not to get players ready. We aim for Eze for 2 seasons and dont get him, but we are happy. We got Simons and Muani but it was again on the fly. For once I would like to start a season with 22 worthy players and not rummage through the bargain bin last minute

The club’s usual play on transfer deadline day is to hold off on an announcement for a transfer like Muani until the end of the day and do it then so that it looks like we have been busy right up until the deadline. If we do confirm it ahead of then it could well mean that we are bringing someone else in

It think it will be if both Gil and Solomon are gone. Gil is gone and Palace and Leeds are going for Solomon.

Saturday is more reflection of his true ability. I said he’ll have occasional good games but generally not good enough all round game. Regardless of service did he once look threatening on Saturday.9
I think the last three games are a true reflection, and why squads are important.

He is great for some games when tactics allow, and not for others.

Sometimes playing on the left would be best, other times up front.

And a good manger, will work it out.

To simply say he is utter rubbish is dishonest, highlights a lack of nuanced understanding, and a heavy dose of personal agenda.

How Bournemouth can be a reflection of who he is, yet ManC, Burnley, and PSG aren't, is beyond me.

And don't bother looking at Kane, he was once in a generation striker, and levels above Richi.
