Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think Simons covers the 10 role and wide left if needs be. He is a two in one player, Frank seems to like Johnson as a left attacker, we have Tel and Odobert that can play on the left. On the right we have Kudus and Odobert as back up, Kulu to come back when he is ready

We might go for a defender but even if we don't I think we can cope until Jan

Imo we will still be keeping an eye on MGW for Jan or definitely for next summer. He is an ideal Frank midfielder and we will wait before we try again once Marinakis had cooled off

What you actually said:

"Tottenham window now closed"

RKM now signed too.....

Wrong twice, bud.

......Try for the hatrick?

With no other context I agree that an 8 would be fair

Factor in the Maddison injury and Son's departure and it falls down to a 7 at best

Don't care what anyone says , Tel , Oderbert and Johnson for the left wing options is devastatingly poor

I don’t hate Odobert as a young squad option, he has at least shown bits and bobs of promise ability and he works hard. But we needed a first team ready option on that left side even withoutSon going, with Son gone it was a must.

Pursuing Simons is a waste of time - JDefoe

"Unlike most; I'm level headed."
"I'm not an emotional poster"
etc.

Daily posts = "WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!"

Absolutely:

Simons can play LW/10, Muani can play LW/ST. Kudus is quite versatile on either wings, even on middle if asked to. Frank will be loving all these flexibilities he can switch around according to opponents.

HotspurDanny (brand-spanking new to twitter, but claims to have 'contacts' inside the club) is saying Lookman is forcing the move with Atalanta, Solomon's and Gil's departures apparently being the trigger for a late play by us.
