How about this version where we win what is basically the UEFA Cup and ignore what happens in the league as long as we're not relegated.... versus... don't win anything.

Grow up big baby ..its just an opinion, just because levy bought you some some shiny new players to suck off, that doesn't mean that he and the club should get away with again leaving us short...
We signed 2 players on loan, I'm assuming so we had more money to actually spend to fill the squad out...but no they fucked that up again...
Round and round in circles every transfer window..
We have needed a backup left back for about 3 seasons now, and a decent left sided player was obvious as soon as son left.
Mark my words, we are one or two injuries away from being in the shit again and struggling to ply 2 games a week...
But you just blindly follow and love what they do, which is the same shit every window...
We buy the bare minimum and never actually take a step forward, we just stay where we are, getting left behind year after year..not so long ago we finished above Woolwich for i think it was 5 seasons..well they fought back and acted like a big cub and look where they are, whilst we were happy to barely be above them and that was enough.

Nobody knows how this transfer window will pan out but if someone told me at the start of it we’d have Simons,RKM,Kudus and Paulinha then I’d have very happy with it. Even if you take Paulinha out of it the other 3 improve us massively in my eyes.

I think we knew - I think we just caved into a mopey moody Poch far too much. He was at his peak as "head coach" and not influencing recruitment in a manic "I turn bellends into ballon d'or candidates" phase, as we clearly did a shite job of scouting him signing Dani 'sociopath' Osvaldo twice.

I have been alive for all 3 trophy wins, I can remember 2 with clarity.

Jokes aside, but it doesnt bode well when your competition(Hojbjerg) gets sold and the other(Bentancur) does his ACL and then has a signifcant ankle injury then gets banned for 8 games ....then still starts ahead of you.

Liverpool by themselves spent about £450m, almost one third of PL spend despite ending last season with one of the best squads ...... yet still failed to sign Guehi, a much needed CB, and its 2 best players Salah and Van Dyke are 33 and 34, a Liverpool supporting friend nervous they will go the same way as Son and Lloris before him suddenly starting to look their age. Most of their money still coming from CL performances in last few years and the 'recycling of Coutinho money' !

You are talking about one off cup matches.

This level of financial imbalance is not sustainable. Some of the best clubs in the other top leagues are losing their best players to relegation candidates and mid table sides in the EPL.

Just look at how Chelsea breezed through the conference league last year. It was a mockery of a competition. And the Europa had the 15th and 17th placed PL teams in the finals. It’s getting more and more imbalanced each year. Real Madrid, Barca, Bayern Munich will all survive enough to be relevant but 2nd tier teams in other leagues can’t compete.

The imbalance is simple business though. The Prem has the money simultaneously because English is lingua franca of the world, and also because huge amounts of time has been spent promoting it worldwide. What’s the league supposed to do? Donate money to La Liga, Ligue Un, the Bundesliga and Serie A?

The smaller teams in those leagues should have more of an issue that their TV rights, whilst smaller already, all get swallowed up by the likes of Real, Barca etc. Go look at the La Liga TV money especially for a quick laugh. If the same were done here the top 4-6 each season would make £300m a season and the bottom 3-5 would make like £50m.

At the end of the day this is a capitalist sport. Those clubs outgrew their leagues because they had the most money and got all the benefits that come with that. Now they wanna cry because they can’t just have the pickings of any team in their country, as well as the very best Prem players. It’s pathetic.

I can't comprehend how anyone can have a much hate as many do for Manor Solomon and claim to be a Tottenham Hotspur fan.

He's done nothing wrong as a player, so there is only one reason for the disproportionate hatred.
