I saw a rumour that Glasner interrupted the medical to tell him he wasn’t going to play much, and then Igor dipped off to West Ham who were in for him first. Then Glasner went and told Parish if they sold Guehi, he’d walk and he already only has 12 months left on his deal.
Bit harsh to fatten Levy up like that in the photoshop, he’s much more cut in real life
My point is that EL is not a second rate cup because of who we beat to win it, its a major title and should not be belittled...same as Audi Cup isnt a major title just because we beat Bayern to win it. But if you think that is idiotic reasoning then feel free to.Congratulations on posting the most idiotic contribution of the decade.

Fair enough, apologies. My point is that EL is not a second rate cup because of who we beat to win it, its a major title and should not be belittled...same as Audi Cup isnt a major title just because we beat Bayern to win it. But if you think that is idiotic reasoning then feel free to.
No problem, maybe I was not clear. Now lets hope for a really tough FA or League cup run, so we are allowed to celebrate it properly, should we win either of them.

I agree , this fan base amazes me sometimes , we have enough to be miserable about over almost 40 years without finding no joy in our wonderful EL win . I don’t care how shit the final was , my son and I will always have Bilbao , memories that will last a lifetime for both of us .We did beat Bayern to win the Audi Cup though, so those who cant find joy in the EL title because we only beat lesser teams can always seek comfort in that major trophy.
I always thought it was as much to do with the ownership as the fans, turns out I was wrong. After a quick check, it seems that our Jewish ownership started with Scholar. Before him it was the Wale family, who owned the club for around 50 years. Since then, every owner has been Jewish, Scholar, Sugar and now Lewis/Levy.I listened to a Spurs Show podcast some time ago when the guest was a Jewish Leeds fan who had written a book called (I think) "Does Your Rabbi Know You're Here".
He had asked himself just this question and concluded that the link came from the early 20th century. The biggest Jewish population at that time was in East London and to get to any other London club relatively near you would have to take a bus.
Apparently, this would breach the Jewish Sabbath (Saturday obviously) laws that prohibit the use of combustion engines. However, you could get to N17 on a tram which, being electric, was permissable.
Don't know if that's true but he'd done a load of research (into all sorts of things regarding British Jews and football) so I guess the theory is worthy of consideration.
I had to look this up,Didn't realise combustion engines were around when the Torah was written!
The fuck are you on about?
This was what destroyed the Marc Guehi transfer to Liverpool. Looks like somebody was doing some secret work in the background. Interesting. Who could have been doing that secret, behind-the-scenes work?
This is important to know and figure out so as to understand how the transfer market works. THFC grabbed Kudus from West Ham. Kudus is from Ghana, where he was born. And he retained his citizenship. Still plays for Ghana. Didn't sell out to a Western nation. Personally, I tend to respect that. Guehi is from Côte d’Ivoire, which is where he was born, but he plays for England. And this Igor Julio is Brazilian.
Football is and can be a very, very ethnic thing. As everyone knows.
