Ancelotti is a great man manager with elite players.

He’s a total flip flop from where we are now and the way this squad is being built. We’d need to get him a whole new squad.

It’s a crazy crazy idea. About as logical as bringing Jose back.
What's logical is that we need proper football people, who've been there & done it at the highest level...and not just once. We need proper men too, not sissies who crumble soon as the road gets a little steep.

But yeah Levy will never go for it as it'd cost money & undermine his authority.

1. Sack the Blob soon as the season's done

2. Give Carlo Ancelotti a call, beg as much as you need to, promise to provide everything he wants (put it in writing, Carlo!)

3. Allo, Thomas Muller? Tell him to forget about Saudi or the US, that he's still got plenty elite football in his legs, make him our No 1 earner

Just two moves like that would instantly transform the club. Two proper legends of the game with a track record of winning big trophies. Two mentality monsters.
Muller will be 36 in the first month of next season. His entire game was based on his mobility and relentless running and ability to both press and arrive in the box. He would not last 5 minutes in the EPL at his age.

Class is permanent. And great players always find a way. Plus, it's the man's aura...if I'm Archie or Lucas and you put a Thomas Muller next to me day in day out, I'm gonna learn so much more than I do from watching a Richarlison, Bissouma or even a Romero...and I'm gonna do everything I can so that maybe one day I reach his level.

Anyway, he & Carlo were just examples to illustrate my point that we're dying for true elite to join our camp.

But you're happy you saw leadership & toughness once on Thursday night.
