I think you are living in fantasyland if you think Maddison is a better footballer than Kulusevski.
Maddison is the better player. He's more creative, more disciplined in a positional sense, better in tight spaces(more elusive), better in build up and more consistent.

Kulusevski has some very good moments but an awful lot of shit moments that he seems to get a pass for, I would take Maddison all day.

Watching the RB game.
Isco best player on the pitch,
GK Adrian fecked up for the equaliser but it was JC's man who he let go.
Apart from that Cardoso has done OK. A couple of tackles, a couple of long range passes.

Kulu’s decision making is too slow. He holds onto the ball far too long. He kills opportunities far too often.

Yeah he's inconsistent with it,sometimes he's very good at breaking the lines and getting up the pitch but too often it doesn't work.

I personally don't like him as an 8 option either, he's terrible in build up and takes no responsibility in actual midfield work.

He's a bit of an enigma for me, as he has ability but he's a very frustrating player.

Apparently battling it out with Leverkusen and Frankfurt over a 17 year old PSG academy CB called Axel Tape, that's rejected a pro deal with PSG. He's not been a regular in the France youth international set-up but did appear in the French U18s earlier this season. Seen a couple of account saying he's very highly rated but can't say I've ever seen him. (From a pretty reliable PSG source).

Not a patch on his younger brother Duct

Do you think that any of the top teams in the CL would chase after Maddison?

Do you think that Maddison is good enough to take Spurs back to the top of the PL, challenging for titles?

Maddison is a good player and has had some fantastic games, but is inconsistent and not good enough to be the main creative player in a team challenging for PL success in my opinion. He is a good player for bottom half of the table sides, teams trying to avoid relegation.

I understand we all look at things differently and some on here may think Maddison is a top tier talent.

The top tier talent thing is irrelevant, the original post said they'd rather sell Maddison than Kulusevski. That's just fucking idiotic. Kuluisevski does less, produces less and is way more inconsistent and goes missing for weeks on end. Maddison is far more vital to us playing decent football than Kulisevski as Maddison helps us transition from defence to attack - and then still assists, scores more and produces more creative quality in the final third than Kulusevski. It's just a no fucking brainer.

If we do somehow manage to win the EL and fluke our way back into the Champions League, I’d be selling one of them (Kulu for me too) and going and trying to get Alex Baena from Villarreal.

Another kid, just what we want, a hopeful punt for the future.

Maddison's role is as the chief playmaker in a team. If he is not good enough to take us back towards the top of the PL and challenging for titles he should be moved on and somebody better brought in. As you succinctly put it, it's just a no fucking brainer.

Kulusevski can provide different options against different opponents. As a different type of winger, a hybrid 8-10 or even a false 9. Great versatility, a player to keep.
