Should fit in lovely an injury prone striker in an injury prone team!We can swap Bamford for Solomon who we only got because it was basically free, because of a war, so it's a win win.
Big yes from me.

Too pricey.
this would be true if we didnt have the worst 'manager' to ever have the audacity to even attempt the job.Sounds bleak but come on...we're friggin 16th and even if we somehow fluke our way to EL glory and are in next year's CL, any player with half a functioning braincell will know we'll get humiliated in the league phase. And that as far as the PL is concerned, our best hope will be top 6-8. On top of getting shitter wages than elsewhere.
We ain't got a chance of getting quality in the summer, unless we get into the CL, in what would be (like United) quite possible the most undeserved ever.
But we are as unattractive as we have been for 10 years and that means we will have to hold onto those who want to stay and seek to bring in those who are just under the radar.
I'm sure he can cover one or two cracks in our lineup.Do you think Axel Tape will be good enough for us in the Premier League or do you think most full backs will have the measure of him?
The sad this about this post is it's accuracy. Whilst every club is over 60% on wages to revenue and some are over 80% ... the ninth richest club in world football are hovering around 40%... I hate it when people say Levy spends big on fees. He does but that's only half the equation. I'd rather he spent less on fees and note on wages... take Solanke. 60m + 23m on wages over 5 years. 83m investment with little return. Then look at Osimhen. Napoli are willing to let him go for 40m this summer to get his wages of their books. He is currently on 256k per week so signing him for that money over 4 years would be a 53m investment plus transfer fee of 40m and you're looking at a total investment of 93m. 10m more than Solanke who I'm not slating here but I know which one I'd rather have.Next year's squad:
GK: Kinsky, Austin, academy kid/sCB: Danso, Dragusin, Vuskovic, Davies + either Phillips or Dorrington...or newbieFB: Porro, Archie, Djed, UdogieCM: Bergvall, Bentancur, Sarr, Devine + academy kidCAM: Maddison, Kulu, DonleyWingers: Brennan, Odobert, Sonny, Mikey + Tel or newbieST: Dom, Lankshear or newbie + academy kid
So 2 or 3 signings max, all of the B or C-list, cheap wages etc. The CB will likely be left-footed and able to deputise at LB. Reckon Levy will try and get Tel done for 40mil + bonuses...if not he'll sign a nobody or get another loan from a big club to excite some of the fanbase. For Solanke's backup, expect someone of Janssen's calibre...or Richy gonna stay cause nobody wants the friggin wage thief.
Vicario will kick off to be allowed to move to Inter. We know Romero is gone already. Think VdV will act a twat to go join Slot & Van Dijk at Liverpool. I've left Udogie in the squad but wouldn't be surprised if he too requested a transfer (PL or back to Serie A). Bentancur is signing a fat new deal...go figure. Nobody coming for Maddison so he'll stay put. Kulu is 50-50 but I've kept him for now...if he goes expect a James Ward-Prowse type to come in.

But hey...that wage-to-turnover ratio will reach its objective of 35%. Plus, if you believe some on here, just need a decent manager and 2 or 3 okay signings and we'll be cooking. Fuck me, some total helmet even said we'd compete if we signed nobody.
I don't know what's going on behind the scene but from living in parts of Asia I know that the SE/FE Asian way of being a leader is different than in Europe: they seldom shout and scream and assert themselves aggressively but instead lead by example, often in a more silent way (I am not saying they do not show aggression at times). We miss leaders. I don't think Son, Romero or Maddison is the type of leaders we need. Honestly I'm not sure they are leaders at all.
I like the idea of a tough DM as captain and leader, so right now, I'm putting my hopes towards Cardoso being the type of person that can be a leader. He won't be captain this coming season (as a new patient) so I'm not sure who I prefer. Kulusevski maybe.
Has Chelsea written all over him.
Chelsea I reckon. Just an opinion.Weirdly, they are moving away from massive wages because they are giving stupid long ones.
Still offer higher wages than us though,
If I was guessing I’d say UTD.
