Something has to break at Chelsea. They have spent ridiculously the last 2-3 years (£1.25B). It is not sustainable. I cannot understand why a player would want to go there as in 6 months the owners will want to replace them.

Palace getting kicked out of Europe is their owners fault. You simply cannot have someone owning two clubs in the same competition. The individual could have put their shares in blind trust before 1st March and been allowed to compete but they did not bother as they did not think Palace would win the FA Cup. They can still play in Europe if their owners sells his shares in Palace or Lyon. But they might lose value (buyers market) . They could even sell their shares in Palace to one of the other Directors of Palace and then buy them back after the European campaign is over, but there seems little trust between them. I feel sorry for Palace fans but the rules are important. If I was a Palace fan I would be hounding this director until he sells up.
I think most clubs would struggle if both CBs and GK was out for months of a season. And when they came back, clear priority was Europa. Decision was vindicated.
Sure Ange had faults as have our previous managers, even the decorated ones.
BUT WE ALL KNOW where the real problem lies. Look, as fans you want to win silverware, fuck it you want to win every game you watch. Managers and players want the same thing. Well run clubs also have this as their primary goal.
However this does not seem to be the goal of ENIC and Daniel Levy. Sure it’s nice to win, especially silverware that gets you champions league football next season; but they don’t appreciate it because of the joy, as supporters/players who get to watch/play for their side in the worlds elite club competition.
They appreciate it because it means more money coming in.
It’s the history of the club under ENIC. When Harry was in charge and we were top who’d we buy? Fucking Saha!
What about Poch and ENIC’s lack of getting any FUCKING one AT ALL?
The fact that we have the best facilities and ground yet refuse to pay decent wages or transfer fees to get the quality of players needed to compete at the highest level, whilst having the lowest wages to income rate in the epl is an indictment on the administration. Spurs will never be successful sustainably on the pitch till Levy and co sell up.
The bottom line for ENIC is not Tottenham winning. The bottom line is the bottom line.
