Also-rans can't afford him.I just cannot see Saudi being a Son move. He'll go back to Germany (or try his hand at La Liga) even it has to be also-rans in those leagues, before going somewhere just for money.
Or am I being naive? Would not be the first time...
Just checking: is Dragusin’s agent the biggest bellend you’ve ever come across? He’s an absolute w*nker. Not seem him do anything but be a prick.
Spence said something like "as long as we play the way that Ange wants, he doesn't go into us too hard if we lose" when he was on Ferdinand's podcast. It wouldn't be a bad thing to bring in some tough, physical players along with younger guys long on potential. Mourinho would talk about Spurs players being "nice boys" and he didn't mean it as a compliment. Coming off a season with so much losing, I wonder if some portion of the team accepted losing too easily. Postecoglou would talk about some losses being "unacceptable" but was the reality that he, and the players, did come to accept losing too easily?
Son really hated living in Germany, from what I remember.I just cannot see Saudi being a Son move. He'll go back to Germany (or try his hand at La Liga) even it has to be also-rans in those leagues, before going somewhere just for money.

Agree but, we are just not in the market for these players unless they are 12.
Liverpool as a club, are not that far away from us in financial turnover but, they win leagues and CLs and there global appeal through success is huge.
Fuck knows who we will end up with, I am not expecting much other than, cheaper punts on youngsters or, players with contract running down that Levy can exploit.
think he was just young and homesick.
Romero ain’t going anywhereBranthwaite for me, home grown, great in the air, two footed, fast and as hard as nails. Him, Danso , Micky, Dragusin a d Vusovic should be pretty good.
We are so obviously building a new squad that’s set to peak in about 5 years. I think it’s really exciting. Postecoglu wasn’t the man to manage a team at this point in its cycle. Hopefully Frank is the guy and finds this project exciting too. COYSI just hope all our signings this summer aren't sub 23 year olds. If we keep going in that direction it's going to be a long long road to maturity to see any benefit from it.
Just 2 or 3 established top proffesionals at the height of there game, please.
Do you not think dragusin should be given a second chance?Hopefully not but a replacement for Dragusin is a must. Can we even sell given he’s still out with an ACL?
Given the fitness concerns over both Romero and VDV, ideally we need a replacement for Radu whilst also retaining Vuskovic at the club as opposed to sending him out on loan. Hopefully Davies joins Wrexham etc for a nominal fee.
I looked up the quotes:
Seems more serious than just homesickness."I moved to Germany when I was young, and went through so many really difficult, unimaginable moments," said Son, who left Hamburg in 2013 for Bayer Leverkusen. "I faced a lot of racism. And while going through such a really difficult time, I had a lot of thoughts on my mind I should get my revenge one day."
