I just cannot see Saudi being a Son move. He'll go back to Germany (or try his hand at La Liga) even it has to be also-rans in those leagues, before going somewhere just for money.
Or am I being naive? Would not be the first time...

In Saudi Arabia he can remain a big star and focal point, make a ton of money, and they can pay Spurs enough to do it all quickly and amicably. And it does ease his travel burden to South Korea somewhat as well.
And on the Saudi end you can understand their eagerness for a league that's desperate for global attention to acquire the biggest football star of the Far East.

Given the fitness concerns over both Romero and VDV, ideally we need a replacement for Radu whilst also retaining Vuskovic at the club as opposed to sending him out on loan. Hopefully Davies joins Wrexham etc for a nominal fee.
We are so obviously building a new squad that’s set to peak in about 5 years. I think it’s really exciting. Postecoglu wasn’t the man to manage a team at this point in its cycle. Hopefully Frank is the guy and finds this project exciting too. COYS
