Think it could be a very difficult summer window for recruitment.
Without CL, the club will struggle to attract decent players, especially as the club doesn't pay top wages even when they were in it.
I suspect a mixture of, out of contract and junior school kids will be the order of the day.

Best English defender in the league for me already and the closest player in terms of raw attributes to Van Dijk but still very quite young. He should be looking for Real Madrid in his future. England need to get a move as well putting him in the first 11, other than experience I cannot see why he isn’t number 1.

If somehow we could pull it off £70-80m would be worth it. Has everything. Great on the ball and great off the ball.

Gyökeres, Dejan and Lucas all came through the BP youth system. Which is arguably the best football academy in Sweden along with Malmös.

There's like two-three years between Dejan and Viktor so they never played on the same team outside of recess in school. Not to mention Dejan moving to Italy at like 15 to join Atalanta. And Lucas is obviously many years younger than both. But there is a common red thread for all three in their football schooling.

Viktor's ex girlfriend Amanda Nildén is also a BP product and currently plays in our women's team.
