Kvaratshkelia from Georgia was doing ok in Rubin Kazan and Dinamo Batumi before Napoli signed him.

We were interested at the time but everyone thought he'd be shit because it's easy to do it in farmers leagues. Proper football men don't come from leagues like that after all.

I am very happy with Vicario, but do we keep Kinsky as back up or send him on loan with a call back option?
Austin seems content with his situation but will Whiteman leave or will we keep him for his CT status?
Forster almost certain to leave.
Unfortunately, Keeley, who has been impressing in L2 at Orient, will be over 21 and NHG next season.
Gunter, who was being highly praised on TFC has suffered a setback and is only on the bench on loan at Wealdstone.
But he just turned 19 last month so time is on his side.
Other academy GKs who did OK in non league loans are Krasniqi, Thompson and Warren.

Sam Archer is looking very good for the U18s, he has the right size and mobility. Needs to get better with his feet, but he is 18 so I guess that will come in time.

Such a good player and has been for years. Only 28yo. If he didn't have that injury record (and our Med staff weren't charlatans), I'd take him in a heartbeat.

I'd keep kinsky for carabao cup games and back up. Austin is good as 3rd choice. Tbh we should keep our eye out for a number 1 in summer. Not 100 per cent convinced with vicario.

Keep Vic, Kinsky and Austin as backup. Bin off Forster, Whiteman and Krasniqi. Loan Gunter. Loan Keeley but listen to offers if likes of Sunderland/Saints/Ipswich interested in perm.

I don't think that works any longer as loans can only start or end in a transfer window - although gk's can be called back in emergency which is when you have no gk's and can't even find one on loan.

We could keep Whiteman as a 4th GK due to his CT status - but don't think he'd get any playing time unless we loan out Kinsky or Austin for 'more experience' keeping Whiteman as 3rd GK. Would we do that though ?

Keeley will be loaned out again at a higher level whether Championship or decent european league. But as he can never be CT I think its a question of whether he gets to be Spurs no 2 GK, replacing Kinsky or we sell Keeley.

Gunter loaned out again, but with Maguire getting new contract, he and Archer will vie for u21 GK season next season, possibly keeping one of other 3 as 3rd GK. Thompson still Academy Year 2 next season so he probably stays regardless

Watkins can play centre, right and left which has attractions, even though he's not top quality but probably in group below those., only real negative is his age of 29 (30 in December),

If he had really been available for £40m in January, with our injury list I think we might have been tempted with a loan and obligation

Keep Kinsky and Austin unless he really wants to go play.

Keeley and Gunter out on loan, let all the other senior GKs go.

Plenty of retrospective tears when that we hadn't signed Min Jae from Japan too.


Not to mention the endless lauding of BVB, Lester, Brighton etc. whenever any of them have uncovered a gem......
