Genuine question: People know that twitter is full of virgins making stuff up, and it is even from a "tier 2" twitter "itk".

So why have you consumed and responded criticising the club, as if they are tweeting it?

Mate, becausecthis is how it often works with us, and because we get it so wrong so often, that you wonder if bets are placed on how much we can muck up transfer windows.

There's your answer.

Paratici is back in town, so we know from the last time he was in the hot seat that we'll hear rumours about absolutely everyone except for players we are actually interested in.

I don't expect us to be signing anyone until we've sorted what style and under who it will be happening

Fair nate. I think we both want the same thing, amd for me it is not the season we just had, notwithstanding a handful of glorious moments.
 
Cardoso is playing well against Chelsea, but it’s very much in the sit back and clog up style that Bentancur and Bissouma did against United.

He’s a good player, but we need a DM who’s gonna be a deep lying passer as well as breaking up play. He’s not what we need.

Still would pick up the option imo. I think he’s worth more than that, we could sell him to Atleti for profit.

TBH I'm really pissed off that we won the Europa and I just felt melancholy a few days after. I don't think my mood will improve until we have something to look forward to, and that is only going to happen with a new manager.

I say that wholeheartedly as someone who really wanted Postecoglou to come to us from Celtic.

It would be nice to sign someone who I thought could change a game, as I don't think we have anyone like that any more.

I was ambivalent towards Postecoglou's arrival and if we had finished in the top 8 we would not be having any kind of discussion.

The mood is less melancholy and more uncertain, and that needs to change quickly, so once we get into June I hope that's the case

You are right about a game-changer. 100%. The most bizarre thing, given the players we have had in the last 17 years is that we also went trophlyess. Work that out. I can't by the way..
