ExactlyWhat long term successor? The same people screaming for Frank to be sacked will be screaming for the "long term successor" to be sacked come March when the results don't magically improve.
I reckon with Bentancur injured, Palinha will start a lot more and may even shine.I completely forgot him!
Fair shout
I wouldnt sign him permanent, but I would keep him until the summer
As a 19/20 year old adapting to the PL?

Genuinely we need a Godwins law for the above statement. Invoking Maradona in a football debate instantly dismissed. LMFAO Alikiliouche....Maradona![]()

This is possibly the most damaging aspect of Frank being in charge. Forget the shit football, ruining promising young players.Frank has done an awful job with Tel, absolutely awful. Even the insult of leaving out of CL for the hope that solanke might be fit one day
Every time I see him play he looks like he has very good talents his young body just can't yet handle at this level. But it will come with proper coaching and experience
Just needs to wait out Frank who's also trying to kill off bergvall by either not playing him and playing an absolute rodri donkey instead, or playing him a basically a striker or winger.
Lucky now he's forced to play Tel so he can develop
To be honest this did originally puzzle me regarding the appointment of Frank... Brentford dont even have an academy and frank has never really played young players opting more for the senior grafters he has. This is possibly the most damaging aspect of Frank being in charge. Forget the shit football, ruining promising young players.

By the end of this month, or are we talking sooner?!
I think we need some change, but it won't be radical.
A situation like ours at the moment can change very quickly with 2 or 3 of the right (not necessarily expensive) signings, and a necessary change of manager.
The other changes you allude to will take more time, but essential to all this is someone with a vision of that future, and who can ensure it happens.
In my experience that material change only comes from someone who really cares, amd isn't in it just for themselves, and who accepts the need to create something that is different.
It certainly is not just about spending stupid amounts (see United), as that group on here believe, or by simply bringing back Pochettino, a move more likely to fail than to succeed.

Yeah because when you have a shit team even your top scorers are shit.So our top scorer will leave the club again...and many "fans" will be delighted again.
Ahh my bad, I didn't know they reopened it in 2023
It's baffling, especially considering our transfer "strategy" if you can call it that of buying young promising playersTo be honest this did originally puzzle me regarding the appointment of Frank... To be fair my point still stands he does favour older pros.
As sad ad it sounds the club may think hes too ugly or somethingI've no idea why no one is being linked to Angelos Stiller, he would be perfect for us and wouldn't break the bank completely.
