Gallagher is a decent player, probably the best we can do on our current state. He’s aggressive and he knows the league. He can chip in with goals too. With Bentancur crocked for months we had to make a signing in that position and if we wanted a more experienced player I think he’s as good as we can get.

Well that same guy said it was to increase/retain his value. TBH I have no idea how that works, I know usually clubs do a short extension but a 5 year contract seems OTT. I guess we will find out.

Gallagher is good. Was excellent for Chelsea under Poch their second best player after Palmer, ahead of Caicedo. My issue is Gallagher lives in intensity. He is a monster presser, he isn’t really a low block passive type of player, his passing is conservative in deep positions and you simply don’t get the most out of him if he isn’t in a battle. Would make sense if Poch was coming back but Frank I do wonder

Erm. Not so sure, neither have great passing ranges and Gallagher is more creative in attacking areas than Henderson.
