I wish everyone could use some once a week and realise if Gray were to go on loan he wouldn’t count as Club Trainee in the future and that’s where we have the most issues. We have already allowed that to happen with Vuskovic. Also Wharton is only the player he is now because he was given time. That’s what Archie needs.

I think he'd still count. Saliba counts as club trained for Woolwich despite him being on loan in France for 3 years after they purchased him. I believe that a player only needs to be on the club's books for 3 years prior to the season they turn 22 to count as club trained for UEFA competitions.

Spurs fans have this really weird habit of wanting to sell our best players, I've legit seen folk say they want to get rid of the likes of Romero, VdV, Spence etc...like how are you meant to build a squad if you keep selling of your assets and as if you actually trust the club to adequately replace them anyway, so weird.

My opinion (the one I have come to) is that Bassey is no less capable than Van De Ven.
I think he will soon be courted by bigger teams than Fulham, with due respect to them,and in some regards would serve us better than Van Der Ven, who relies on his pace far too much and is a poor passer of the ball.
Whether the issue is that he doesn't play alongside someone who tells him where to play or whatever, but for me Van De Ven has a long way to go before he is anywhere as good as posters on here believe.
And most definitely not world class
