The thing is, we pay world class, elite level Ticket prices...
We deserve to see world class, elite level football players...

As I said. It's in the cubs hands. Pay them the money, show them how we have the facilities and the resources and most importantly the will and determination to compete for the major honours and they'll find us equally attractive.

Cowering away and meekly accepting some place among the Brentfords, Palaces and other mid table also rans is, quite frankly scandalous for a club of our size and wealth.
We have everything to be big, the club now needs to start thinking and acting big.
Under the previous regime, we spoke big, but acted mid table, always hiding behind one excuse after another.
Let's see if Enic Mk2 are really have what it takes.

TV exists. Footballers watch a lot of it.

What assurances does he start for either of them....

He'd start for us all day long in front of 60000 in the best stadium and facilities in the country. Staying in London as well.

That and big wages, you get him
Walks into Liverpool's. Jones currently starting. As for City, outside Haaland, there's no such thing as guaranteed starter.

The ultimate disingenuous, slimy internet tosser calling anyone else slimy is hilarious....... Happy New Year indeed. :roflmao:
Have to admit, the crashout did make me laugh after he'd literally just called everyone losers.

He's a funny guy.

Not sure about any of that apart from your confirmation that people watch television 🤣🤣🤣

But I don't thinkJohnson will go there if afterspeaking to Glasner,he doesn't get some assurances.

I suspect any so-called talks are as much to stoke other interest as much as seeking some commitment from Glasner or whoever Johnson and his team might be talking to.

If not he might just sit tight, although Johnson doesn't strike me as the type who will sit in the 'cold' and just draw his salary.

Johnson must or should also be looking at himself in all this, and whilst he might be disappointed he should also realise that both his international and club managers have taken him out of their starting line-ups.

It's now for him to ensure his carreer doesn't fall into a downward spiral.
Agreed I’ve made the point before that Johnson is not a guaranteed starter for Wales and Wales have not exactly got a big choice of Premiership players to choose from.

Finally some evidence of us being ruthless and pushing players out who aren't good enough. We haven't seen this since the early Poch years. Although I do find it funny that Paratici told him he wasn't part of the plans going forward when he has a foot out the door to Fiorentina.

Yeah the DoF on the way out telling a player he isn’t part of the future is truly dysfunctional Spurs at its best

Yep, so much as he might/probably does feel a bit aggrieved at club level,it's a wider issue of needing to try and add more to his game.

How possible that is I am sceptical, so then it's a matter of where you play him to take advantage of his innate qualities.

Where we evidently differ is the principal of Potential v Now....

You seem comfortable with the former (and make no mistake; Sav's output WILL drop before having any chance of rising up again once he's taken the step down from MC).... I say the latter is what's crucial.
I agree with my mate Airfixx Airfixx 👏👏
