There is a HUGE lack of leadership / experience in this side.. as said before all the players we're buying don't really have the experience it takes to play for a top side (bar Bentancur):

[Lineup]
Vicario/Empoli
Porro/Sporting Romero/Atalanta VDV/Wolfsburg Spence/Middlesborough
Bentancur/Juventus Gray/Leeds
Kudus/WestHam Bergvall/Djurgarden Odobert/Burnley
Richarlison/Everton

A deep playmaker is what we need. Someone who can take the ball and dictate the pace of the game. Rueben Neves is one that stands out as he always looked like someone who knew when to quicken up the game and when to have the composure to slow it down. Whether he’d take a wage cut to come to us I don’t know. Wharton is one that I’ve watched a lot lately but he’s not coming to us. We are not a real option for top players who want to win things and having a manager like ours will put players off.
Firstly we need change him before anything else but we won’t and this season will be an utter right off and it will be even harder to recruit next season with no European football. We can salvage this season if we get Frank out now.

If Neves is, as reported, wanting to come back to play in Europe, he’ll know he’s inevitably going to have accept a pretty substantial pay cut. I’d have Neves in a minute, he might take half a season to get back up to speed at this level again, but he always struck me as having a bit of class about him.

Wharton’s a totally different player though, Neves like you say can dictate the tempo of a game, knows when to slow it down and when to get the ball forward quickly. Wharton’s not really like that, he’s more just the type that will play an unbelievable killer pass that breaks the opposition’s defensive line, he’s never struck me as someone that controls the tempo of a game that much though.

That's like me wondering if I bag Margot Robbie what she's like in bed. Wharton won't be coming to us and unfortunately for Margot she won't be disappointed by me either

If I got to bed Margot Robbie, aside from being the best 30 seconds of my life, it might be the worst experience of hers 😄

And I think thats my point with Wharton, could go either way.

I have a suspicion he could be like any number of players teams like Brighton have sold, look great within their set up but when they get the big move they dont look anything like as good (Im looking at you Bissouma!)

Brennan Johnson is set to be included in the Crystal Palace squad to face Newcastle on Sunday after finalising his move from Tottenham.

BBC Sport revealed on Thursday night that the Tottenham star was undergoing the first part of his medical ahead of completing the move across London.

The formalities of that deal have now been finalised and Johnson will be announced as a Palace player inside the next 24 hours.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank is due to face the media today at around 13:30 GMT, when he will no doubt field questions on Johnson's proposed move.

huh?

Lol, BBC edited it before I posted it. Said Johnson to be included in the Spurs squad ahead of Palace move. Now changed to Johnson to be named in Palace squad for Newcastle.
