He's not being hung out to dry. He's totally failing already and giving him more licence to sign players is just digging a hole. Let him show us what he can do with the current squad before the summer and sack him before we invest. Unless he shows improvement before then

If he and the club dont buy a striker and after this window we only have richarlison and solanke then theres a big question mark over frank and the board.
 
Why are we selling Tokai and Donley ?

Yep he is a good player but has limitations. Our issue wasn’t missing Eze or buying Simons. It’s Maddison’s injury, Maddison is a different level to both of them and his injury hurt us badly.

Richarlison to be fair to him he does work hard but he isn't actually that strong its why his touch is so bad, hes too focused on trying to compete physically and scrapping

Also our midfield doesn't squeeze up to win the 2nd ball

Whether or not this rumour is true, Porro has been a shadow of his former self. 13 G and As last season, only 3 so far this. No goals.
He looks as unhappy as the fans with tactics.

I will drive him to the airport and carry all his luggage. But its teamtalk so its made up shit. Paqueta is an odd one I fully get what thinktank thinktank says he's flawed. BUT we are really shit and 26 million in the current market is nothing. He is a better passer and footballer than our current options , he is kind of cover for Maddison and Kulu injury comeback not going smoothly and...I think he will work hard for it because he basically has too or he's finished. If the deal is three years ONLY we might get a bit out of him. Before the gambling farago Pep was putting down 80 million for him

If our model works, then the DoF buys players for the club irrespective of an individual manager. It only fails if the manager is not the right fit for the ethos of the club or the DoF buys shit players. Frank should be bought a DCM who can pass the ball and orchestrate play. If he does not use this player to implement attractive progressive football then he's clearly the wrong man for the manager's job and we need to replace him quickly. If Lange buys him another teenage prospect who is not ready to play progressive football and orchestrate play in the first team from day one then the he has failed and he needs to be replaced.

Vinai needs to make it clear to both (the manager and the DoF), that we need ready now, mature players who can play attractive, possession based football.
