We don't need a LB as cover. We need a starting XI quality LB...with Ben or Djed acting as cover. Funnily enough, we already have one on the books...and nope he's not called Udogie. But yeah, play that guy there (which he does for his NT) and we'd need a new LCB.
Anyway, what a proper big club with genuine ambition (plus 9th richest in the world, best stadium, most expensive ST etc etc) would do is go for someone like Dimarco or Carreras or Grimaldo or Alphonso...throw money at them, show them you're friggin serious, and you just never know.
What you don't do is throw 10mil at some random kid from Brazil who's played just 24 pro games. What's the friggin point. If that's all you gotta spend, may as well go for an English lad with Champo experience.
